Last dinner in the Berkshires. Sat in a dark Lowere level, but the room has an interesting decor with a nice Yankee candle smell. Server was new but tried hard. The food, burgers and entrees nothing special, nothing stood out. The real surprise came at the end. We were given two Amex gift cards to use for dinner and this place took Amex so we thought everything would be fine. Come to find out they don't take gift cards. The manager firmly told us cash or credit card, no Amex gift card! We paid and quickly left. I'm glad we have better, friendly options at home. Sorry Lanesboro.

Visiting on Business, we inquired with a few locals fro a bar/ pub food experience. The pub food, especially the wings, fries, salad were great. The prices very fair and the service was excellent. We met several locals at the pub who were friendly. One thing that was really good was that they turn on the TV sound which many bars do not these days. Why was this important? Because it was Sunday night football!! Great experience!

Most times you cannot get in here, it is so busy. But last saturday night, we had a party of 8, we waited around 30 minutes and were seated downstairs. We had great food and ice cold beer, and the selections were what we were there for. Our company was from Boston and had heard about the Forge, and were not disappointed. Can't wait to return!

This is a very popular hang out, strategically situated near Jiminy Peak Ski area & Mount Greylock in Lanesboro, MA. I recommend getting there early to avoid long wait times. They serve a wide selection of beers (on tap & in bottles) + wine & cocktails. Locals have a "beer club" card that awards mugs to those who drink enough to fill up the card. The atmosphere is warm & friendly - with several of the local folks talking to me at the bar. The pub fare is what you would expect. I had the fish n chips, which was average. But, the portions are large; the service is friendly & efficient & the prices are very reasonable.

We have eaten here multiple times. Wait times are unpredictable due to so few tables. Our "15" minute wait turned into a hour. Burgers were great, french dip was so so, Onion soup was just okay, chili was awful.
