“Staying in the heart of Cape Cod”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2014

We traveled to the Cape this week and were quite pleased with accomadations at the Hyannis Inn. Knowing nothing about the area we tried to read up on activities and places to stay. We hit a home run with our choice. We were centrally located on the Cape in Hyannis so daytime travel was minimal. Staying on Main street in Hyannis was the key. We were only a 10 minute walk to the harbour for the ferry or one of the many resturants. Main street in the evening was great with it's many choices of eatery's , shops, and pubs. The Inn itself was spotless. Accomadations with a indoor pool , friendly and helpful staff and again location all made the stay very pleasurable. It's a 2 story motel with ample parking so your parked right outside your room. They promote themselves as a couples and family Inn so you do not have a situation with rowdy loud 20 somethings. We found that driving through the other villages things were spread out so you did not have the advantages of Main street . Keep in mind this is a motel you have a comfortable bed, a desk & TV and a clean bathroom. A+ to the Hyannis Inn.

Older motel but very clean and quiet. Loved the location. Walking distance to everything. Pool was great. Great free coffee in the morning served near the pool. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at Hyannis Inn Motel for two nights last week. Staff was very friendly, check in was at 3:00 PM but we arrived at 11:00 AM hoping to check in early. Well, the front desk person was extremely friendly, I asked if we could check in early, and she said YES your room happens to be ready now. We chatted a while, she pointed out on a map our location and places to go within walking distance. We got to our room, yes it is small, but was very clean. We were not there to stay in our room the whole time. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, we did not hear noise from the outside, nor from the rooms next to us. Would recommend this Hotel to others for location!

Myself (I'm from MA) and 2 friends from Kansas spent 2 nights at this in town hotel and found it to be just the right spot for us. The room was quite large and very clean. The staff was fantastic. We loved Kathleen at the front desk. My friends wanted to feel Cape Cod and we visited the shops and restaurants in town enjoying walking to everything.I'm familiar with the area so we drove by some of the beaches, the area of the Kennedy compound and saw some of the sights so they knew the flavor of the Cape before we were done.Loved the tapas and the service at Embargo the best restaurant for drinks and 1/2 price tapas (all day on Tues and 4-6 on other days). We only had 2 nights so of course we did the Christmas tree shop. They bought mementos and shirts on Main St. Will for sure stay here again.

Room Tip: We were in the back bldg.Very quiet and great parking.

Good clean and friendly. We were visiting friends nearby and this was a perfect place for us. It could do with tea and coffee facilities in the rooms but there was free coffee and tea in the pool room.

We stayed 5 nights here and while the location is good for all the restaurants in the area, the room we had was bare bones. No tissues, no artwork on the walls, no breakfast or coffeemaker in the room. They did have coffee by the pool each morning and 1 microwave for everyone to use - again at the pool! The room was clean but the first day we found about 10 different bugs and black ants. The front door wouldn't shut unless you slammed it and the lock wouldn't work right. They updated the bath area, which was nice, but you couldn't get your fingers under the drawers to open them. They need to install drawer pulls and knobs on the doors. The shower was good, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable. I would probably stay there again but not for 5 nights. The staff was friendly and made good suggestions about restaurants and things to do. The air conditioner was very noisy. The large closet was nice, but unfinished plywood to box in the AC unit was a bit tacky! The intention to update was good but the follow-through was lacking. Everything seemed half done. We were out of range of the Wi-Fi so unable to connect to the internet.

Room Tip: If you want quiet, request a room near South Street, parking is easier there also as they are cramme...

It's an older hotel but still nice and cozy. We stayed here 2 nights. The room was clean and the location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants! Management was very nice and helpful. The bed was so comfortable! Slept great! We would definitely stay here again. The price was good. We were very pleased.
