I have stayed at many hotels on the Cape before and this hotel was the finest by far. The rooms and hotel itself were very clean! The renovated rooms and the location were both outstanding. The close proximity to the harbor, as well as shops and restaurants was a big plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits the Cape both in season or off!

Thank you for being our guest in the new harbor building at the Hyannis Harbor Hotel and writing such a great review!

We are glad to hear you enjoyed our brand new year round building with 68 guest rooms. All rooms feature custom furniture with shiplap headboard wall accenting, Stearns and Foster bedding with fine linens and duvets, robes, oversized bathrooms with walk in showers, floor to ceiling windows with Juliette balconies, 49 inch HDTVs, ultra-fast free wireless internet, refrigerator, microwave and safe.

As you mentioned we are also conveniently located across the street from the Hyline Cruises and walking distance to downtown. We hope to see you again soon!

We chose this hotel on price and reviews. Never having been to the cape we had no idea where we were going. It turned out to be a good choice for us. We did stay in the new building. It was so new it still smelled like paint. Our room was very nice. We did not pay extra for a “room with a view” so we were disappointed that our view was a parking lot. The bathroom, wow, loved the decor. Good job. We also liked having a washer and dryer right downstairs. Please note, it uses a credit card, not quarters. We actually liked that. It was very chilly when we were there but there were still couples braving the weather to sit out by the fire pit. It would be great on a lovely fall evening. We were happy the hotel was right across from the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Very convenient and we could walk by the water. The little coffee shop, near there, came in handy as the hotel does not have a breakfast. We were disappoint that the onsite restaurant did not seem to be open except for a bus group that came in. Next door was a nice little restaurant but it was not open for breakfast. All in all a nice stay for us. We did not see the older rooms so we cannot comment on them. There is an elevator in the new building but the older building did not seem to have one. Parking was free for us as we were there off season. During the season, there is a charge for parking, so said the front desk person.

Room tip: If you want a view, pay the extra.

The hotel room was clean and very nice. The hotel itself is sprawling and I can see how it would be a great place if there were lots of you coming in but I was alone and checking in at night and my room was on the other side of the place in the back. The area was very quiet but there were a few people walking around who looked a little questionable. I felt kind of vulnerable as a woman alone and the entrance went into a back stairway that was deserted and....look I'm from NYC, Cape Cod off season gives me the creeps at night. The place was nice. I'm sure it's hopping during the on-season, which I probably wouldn't like either, but...

We just returned from a family trip to Cape Cod where we booked a 2 bedroom suite at this hotel because of its location and indoor pool. The suite had been renovated, but the bathroom was very tiny for 5 people, and had not been fully renovated. The "older" section is a series of narrow, maze-like halls. After our first day spent biking, we wanted to use the indoor pool. In spite of the posted hours, it was not open. The outdoor pool was open. When we complained to management, we were told only one pool could be open at a time. What?? The outside pool was too deep for our 3 yo granddaughter, and was inundated with middle school age boys! Other issues this hotel had---loose railings in our suite and missing ceiling tile in public ladies' restroom. The manager, upon checkout, did discount our room after hearing our concerns.

Room tip: Definitely get a room in the newer section
