This is an older hotel that has been updated.
Be advised. There are no elevators. No matter which room you get, there are stairs to negotiate.
Our room had a strong cleaner smell when we arrived. We aired it out for a while and that helped.
Out door and in door pools with a whirl pool.
Small bath room. Standard motel size room.
Breakfast is not a full breakfast most of us are used to. Pretty much all "carbs".
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The gentleman at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the area and made several good suggestions for attractions and restaurants.

Central location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, fridge, coffee maker, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, ample parking. However what really makes this place stand out for us is the friendly, helpful and approachable staff. The guys on reception (same guys we first met in 2015) go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you enjoy your stay. It really is 5* customer service.

This is also a great base for exploring Cape Cod and taking the ferry to either Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. Reception has offered us half price/2-for-1 ferry tickets every time we have visited.

This was the best hotel! The staff was friendly, accommodating and really cared about their guests. We arrived on an evening where they accidentally overbooked. The front desk offered us a smaller room with a significant price reduction. We happily accepted as it was just my husband and I traveling. The room that we were given was beautiful, clean and at half price, you can't go wrong. There are 2 pools on the premises. They are clean and well kept. The safety of the guests is of paramount importance to the staff. The gates are kept locked when no one is in the pool and a staff member oversees the pool when guests are there, even if they are just sitting poolside reading as my husband and I were. The location was ideal. It was centrally located to main street and local attractions. It was a wonderful experience!

We visited end of August 2018 and Cliff at the front desk was very friendly. Other staff friendly too and very obliging. Place has a recent makeover and is clean. A bit pricey for the rating but that's the going rate in that area. Very close to Main Street and other attractions in the area. You don't have to ever take the car out.

Really wide choice for a free breakfast and replenished immediately. Indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub too. Room comes with a fridge and coffee maker besides other amenities.

I would go to no other place if I visit again.

Room tip: 3rd floor overlooking the pool area is good

My wife and I stayed at the Hyannis Travel Inn on August 18th and 19th. Check in was very easy and the receptionist fellow named Cliff was most helpful. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. The wifi signal is prptected and good, due to multiple routers throughout the facility. And the location was the cherry on top! We walked to the harbor, the JFK Museum, and all of the other sights to see on Main Street. Be aware that immediately across the street, beside Kilwin's Ice Cream shop, there is a covered walk way that is a short cut to Main Street.

I would stay here again, and can reco recommend that you consider it as well the next time you need a place to stay in Hyannis.
