“Great for take out”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

My family of 6 have spent one week in Cape Cod for the past 5 summers. Since the first year, we will get take out from Baxter's at least once or twice during our weekly stay. We love the shrimp and scallop skewers, the crab cakes and the seafood chowder. We have eaten at the restaurant as well, which has nice views of Hyannis harbor.

“Nice place on a sunny afternoon”
Reviewed July 16, 2014 via mobile

Great views both in side and on the deck. Children not allowed in the bar side of the resturant. Which for is is great. They can go to the other side
Food is very good Fish and chips are one of the best on the cape. Clams tender and cooked just right.
Service friendly and very efficient. Place can be noisy at times. Prices in line ( actually lower) with most places in Hyannis. Like I said nice place to spend a afternoon

“Great views right on the water!”
Reviewed July 16, 2014

During our stayed we dined here twice. The 1st time we enjoyed lunch and sat in the nicer part of the restaurant. Doors were open, nice breeze coming in, cold beer in hand watching the boats pass. We enjoyed the chowder and I had the Fried Scallops while my husband had the shrimp.... both very tasty!!! Another evening we went with another couple and dined outside since the restaurant was full. Ordered our food off the menu inside and then enjoyed a great seafood dinner on the little deck ont he water at the picnic tables. Another great meal. Loved being right on the water and the nice breezes. Did not like that you could not get the same beer from the restaurant outside... they are right next to each other.... wanted a Whale's Tale and could not get other then inside.

“Casual dining on the harbor”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

Nice, busy, local seafood place on the harbor, near the ferries, with nice water and boat views. Small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Decent menu. The house Merlot was the "barefoot" brand, and while good, was overpriced. The NE clam chowder was excellent. We had the blackened salmon and shrimp over linguine which were served with a nice salad and rice or potato. Very tasty. Service was prompt and attentive.
