Description: Alberto's Ristorante was established in 1984 at which time, Northern Italian cuisine and fresh homemade pasta were introduced to Cape Cod for the first time. Since then, we have continued this tradition of all fresh ingredients and in-house preparation of every course from the soups to the desserts. Our reputation for casual elegance arises from our emphasis on decor, service, the pride we take in food preparation, and our affordability. Over the years, we have received rave reviews from food critics from the Cape Cod Times, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Cape Cod Life Magazine, Fodor's, AAA, and New York Times critic James Beard for "...exquisite Northern Italian cuisine". Our lounge is the perfect setting for a before dinner cocktail, an after dinner espresso, or an even more casual meal. .

Went based on trip advisor comments. Service was very friendly. Outside seating is on the street. Its not quiet, but good for people watching. Inside was slightly outdated. Bathrooms have sea salt scrub, which was pretty cool. Food was good. Muscles were good. Calamari was just ok. Seemed a little overpriced for the food quality, but overall it was a good meal with good service.

I started with the calimari, which was a little mushy but the dipping sauce was good. I ordered the veal parmasean and eggplant , which was good. The pasta that came with it was ok, the sauce could of been a little better. The best part of the meal was the dessert. Tiramisu was great, as was the cheesecake.

I called for a reservation the same day and was greeted by a cherry voice stating that they looked forward to serving us. What a pleasant greeting. It was a busy Friday night and the restaurant was packed. We were given a choice of where to sit and choose the "quieter" large banquet room in the rear. Service was friendly and excellent. Coming from NJ....we are Italian food snobs. We ordered our usual favorite dishes; cold antipasto and two different eggplant dishes. The antipasto was a surprise....calamari, salmon, salami, cheese, peppers, artichoke and more. For $14.95 it could have been a meal. The eggplant dishes (stuffed with ricotta and veal parm.) were very good, but the pasta was overcooked. Sauce was good. Not fabulous but definitely the best Italian food we've had since moving to the Cape last year. We would go back.

From the moment you walk through the door you are treated to a beautiful ambiance, excellent service and delicious food. The menu has something for everyone. We ordered the Seafood sampler for two as an appetizer, Jumbo shrimp, clams casino, oysters Rockefeller and smoked salmon. The entrée selection varies from traditional Italian fare to chicken, veal, seafood and beef selections. An extensive wine list and great specialty cocktails complete the experience. Would highly recommend!

I would suggest this very nice Italian restaurant in Hyannis. The restaurant has a very nice atomosphere with an excellent waitstaff. We went on a Saturday night in July and did not have problems getting a table as the restaurant is on the larger side. The meals are reasonably priced. I had the Chicken Parm and that was very good even though the sauce could have been better. Portions were an average size, not too big or too small. Good choice for nice calm dinner.
