“Great Food, Great Service”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Went to Sam Diego's last night. Had three grandchildren ages 4, 2 and 1 with us. We had a reservation and we were seated within 5 minutes. We ordered appetizers and entrees, as well as three kids meals. The food took a little longer than usual for the server to being to our table, but we all enjoyed the appetizers and dinners. Our 1 year old grandchild really made a mess. I apologized to the server who was wonderful and told me not to worry about it. Of course I left a larger tip. We have gone to San Diego's for the last four years while on vacation and we have never been disappointed.

“Nice, non chain Tex-Mex spot”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

I've been there twice in two months when passing through to/from the ferries. No wait either time. Free chips & salsa, good food, good quantities, open late for Hyannis. Pleasant, typical Tex-Mex décor. I liked that they featured plaques they received from local Fire and EMS people for their help. There is one other in Plymouth I hear. Good size dining areas; some tables have outlets for us geeks (ask hostess, they aren't obvious). Big well lit parking lot. Fair prices. My vegetarian teen girl liked it! And ate the food!!

“Great Mexican Food!”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

We had so much fun at Sam Diego's in Hyannis Ma. We ate in the bar area as you come in to the restaurant. The food was really good. The chips were homemade with salsa. The bartender was the best, a young guy, who was alot of fun. He said he was from sandwich . He made us some great drinks. He also recommended which dishes were the best and they were! We had the specials that night a tex mex dish with steak, ribs and chicken. Great mexican rice and beans. I had the mexican pizza very good.
Make room for the fried ice cream , you can share and its worth every bite!

“Good place to take the family.”
Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant is very big and can seat a lot of people. They even have a nice outdoor area. The food was average. My only complaint is the fajitas did not come with onions and peppers. It was my fault because the menu did not say you get them. Our server did a very good job. We will definitely go back for a casual meal or a few beers!

“Better than average Mexican Cuisine”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We had lunch here after checking into the Days Inn Hyannis, about a block away. It is an easy walk from the parking lot of the hotel. The restaurant has an eclectic decor and is family friendly. The prices are reasonable and they also offer non- Mexican items such as burgers and sandwiches. Service was attentive and friendly. Everyone in my family liked what they ordered, which was a combination of Mexican entrees and burgers.
