“Kids loved it there!”

We spent two nights at the Cape Codder. The best part was the indoor wave pool and water slides. Our 6 and 9 year-old daughters absolutely loved it. We spent one day at the beach and they couldn't wait to go back to the hotel to go in the pool. The "bon" fire, which I would call a campfire, was a great addition. They even sold marshmallows and roasting sticks (for $5) at the restaurant for toasting. The Hearth & Kettle restaurant was decent enough, but the scrambled eggs were terrible, and (coming from New Hampshire) the Heinz maple syrup in a plastic container was disappointing. The room had two queen beds and were comfortable enough, clean room, nice staff. We asked for 2 extra pillows though and they never came. Overall, it was really fun and I would definitely go back; the pools really make it great.

Room Tip: If you need to have a 1st floor room or elevator make sure to let them know. Some rooms on the secon...

Stayed one night at the "Resort" and was totally disappointed. Even my children thought is was old and looked like an apt. Complex rather than a hotel never mind a resort. Check in was easy and staff was nice... Quite rushed with info yet very nice.
We were kept awake by people in room next to us and finally turned on tv to try to drown out their noise..Although no smoking policy every time you came in or left your building entrance all the smokers were lined up leaving horrible stench.

I was so disappointed in what I thought would be a great time for my daughters birthday turned into "when can we leave?". Total waste of money in my experience.

We were here for a three night stay for a convention. The place is unassuming from the outside but is much bigger inside. The room had two queen sized beds and was clean. The amenities were minimal- just a shampoo, soap and lotion. The bathroom was small but again, clean. The air conditioning works well but as other guests have mentioned, it turns on and off all night long in two minute intervals and can really affect your sleep. Glad the room was cool though. The hallways appear to have new carpeting but the hotel does still seem 'older.'

The pools were both quite nice. There we comfortable chairs at the outside pool. It had a hot tub and a waterfall which the kids found great. The very thin towels lack something to be desired. They also didn't keep them replenished and we were without towels several times. The pool temp was very warm. The indoor wave pool was very fun for the kids. There is the wave pool side and the waterside side. There were just plastic chairs for parents to sit in there. Had it been raining this weekend, this would have been a life saver. Both pools also have a lifeguard which I was happy about. There is an outdoor patio outside the wave pool which is very pleasant. We had our first dinner out there which was set up quite nicely. Eating lunch out there would be fun too. I did find that some life guards were very strict at the pool. Just today my eleven year old very mild mannered kid got the whistle blown at him for spitting pool water out of his mouth and into the pool. I asked the life guard about it and he said it was 'horseplay.' Kids are not allowed to jump in the pool or walk off the ends into the pool

We had some breakfasts there provided by our company and they were just so so. Not sure what the restaurants on the property would be like. They were very accommodating with me being a vegetarian and prepared some nice fish. The Saturday morning staff was not very accommodating at breakfast and refused to replenish things that were empty.

For Cape Cod, I thought this place was pretty good. The pools were nice and the grounds were pretty. The rooms were clean. I wish the AC worked differently and that the pool rules were not so strict.

The hotel was just ok. Glad we got a good priceline deal. Could use some updating. Halls had musty smell. Air conditioner made so much noise hard to sleep. But it was clean and worked out fine. 10 minute drive to beach and center of town.

Stayed here on my own while in the Cape last summer. Based on the amenities, this would be an excellent hotel to stay at with children without breaking the bank.

Rooms big with good services. For us a bit too big, quite faceless. Need to get in the car to get to Hyannis. The hearth and kettle foods was good, plentiful and tasty, but breakfast a bit of a waste of time, massive queue. For a hotel so big it seems strang that the dining room does not cater for lager numbers. For those with kids, probably excellent, but I try to avoid kids as mine are grown up

What a pleasant hotel. Good facilities, good staff and very clean. Revamped bathrooms good, huge beds, large rooms and gets special security by virtue of the carpark having the entrance to Barnstaple PD. Both the restaurants good, and with its own gift shop. Good for kids with a beach area, beach volleyball. Inside and outside pools and tennis courts. Free wifi a great benefit.
