We stayed from 26/10 to 29/10(me,my wife and our daughters) even though we have booked till 30/10.After first night we noticed blood stains on the sheets but didn't pay much attention;in the third night we saw the bed bugs and also the swells from the bites on our kids legs.Unfortunately,we have to cut short our vacation...can't wait to get home to complain to Royal Holiday

Cape Winds is a great find. We have stayed several times during the spring & summer months as well as during the winter. We rent a second floor, 1 BR, 1.5 BA condo each visit. The unit is spotless, comfortable and well stocked with all the kitchen appliances & tools you will need. The living room has a dining area 2 sofas (one of which is a sleeper sofa). There is a TV in the living room area & one in the bedroom.
We rent on the second floor so that we will have a deck off of the bedroom. The deck has a umbrella table & chairs. Units on the ground floor have a patio. There is a common grassy area for children to play or to BBQ.
There is an indoor pool and pool towels are provided. The facility is within walking distance to a full grocery store.
The management also provides a "welcome goodies basket".
This is a great place to stay.

We stayed at Cape Winds with our time share Royal Holiday and the place is very nice and very clean. We had a small issue in out first condo but we were immediately upgraded for our troubles. Staff was excellent and friendly. Cape winds is in a great location close to great restaurants, Beaches and Supermarkets. The Daily Paper is a good little breakfast spot right across the street. We will be back for sure!

As we arrived at the property I had a bad feeling, this was not the same place advertised in the timeshare book. I wanted to find a Marriott, even though we had cashed in our 1 week for this place. The buildings were run down in need of some major updating. As we checked in at the office, I glanced at the pool and saw how discolored and unmaintained it was. I asked about the workout area and was directed down a flight of stairs to a dingy dimly lit extremely cramped area with 3 pieces of equipment. We are finally headed to the room and not looking forward to what is behind the door. As we go in we were not disappointed the room was so stuffy even with the AC running, we tried to adjust the thermostat which did not work. We called the office to report this issue and they told us that's why they had a fan put in the room. The carpets were so dirty and the bed, linens and furniture upstairs were all 20+ yrs old. The spindle staircase to the 2nd floor was very hard to manage, especially if you had to carry anything, as you were trying to hold on for dear life and not fall or hit your head. The AC worked so well upstairs that if we stayed up there we would have had to wear coats. The kitchen had newer cabinets and the patio furniture was updated, it would have been nice if we were able to get to it without injuring ourselves. We followed up on the AC situation downstairs and were told the maintenance person was unavailable. We decided to sight see out of the area and spent 2 nites in other hotels, even though we could have driven back to Cape Winds. At least we do 2 decent nites sleep. Once we returned there was a window unit installed in the downstairs. When it was time to check out, we were given a list (load dishwasher and start it, take out all trash, strip bed of linens, gather all dirty towels in a pile) prior to the housekeeping staff coming, there was even an envelope for us to leave a tip. If you want fresh towels exchange day is Tuesday in the Office. The office people were very nice and apologized for the problems, but were unable to do anything other than report them.

Room Tip: I would ask to see the room prior to checking in.

This motel was perfect and pet-friendly. What more could you ask for? The staff took care of us like we were family. And, boy! What a beautiful view of the inlet with a sparkling pool by the bay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great stay.

A friend and I stayed at Cape Winds Resort in late April 2011 and were pleasantly surprised by our accommodations here. We had a fully-equipped kitchen, large bedroom with a queen-sized bed and sliding doors to a deck, a living room with a pull-out queen-sized bed, loveseat, table and chairs in a bay window, a flat-screen TV and two bathrooms. The whole place was tastefully decorated with new furnishings, lots of dishes, pots and pans and a dishwasher. There was a grocery store adjacent to Cape Winds which was so convenient for picking up breakfast essentials. The staff in the office were pleasant and helpful and a Keurig coffeemaker was in the office anytime you
wanted a coffee while the office was open. Cape Winds was close to shopping and the tourist areas and we found it easy to get around. There was also an indoor pool which we did not use. We arrived just as it was getting dark and did not want to go too far in the dark looing for a place to eat so went a ways up the street and found a place called Jack's...it looked like a Roadhouse..nothing fancy but the food was fantastic and reasonable. We went back another night and got a pizza to take out and it was equally as yummy as the first meal we had there.

Room Tip: Our suite was on the second floor and could not have been any nicer!

My husband and I take our grandchildren each year on a trip. This year we selected a Kennedy destination as my husband says. We took our family down to Hyannis, MA. It was a pleasant drive. We decided to stay at the Cape Winds Resort and we were not disappointed. It is a great place for family reunions. We booked a two bedroom suite for 6 adults, it was spacious, each room had a dresser and a very neat bathroom. Units are in good shape even though the facility is not new at all. The condo offered a full equipped kitchen as well (cookery and cutlery included) with a microwave, coffee maker and even a toaster. We had a unit with a patio, something that was great to enjoy some outdoor games; there is also a play area for kids and an indoor pool. By the way, if you decide to do some cooking there is a grocery store next door. The living room is big and has a cable T.V. The unit had a phone too. I must thank the staff for all their help, they are very nice, friendly and . If you go on vacations to this amazing destination you must take a stroll on the walkway to the sea at sunset; visit the shops, boutiques and specialty restaurants down there. If you enjoy cultural sightseeing the JFK Memorial is another must. A fun place to visit is the Cape Cod Potato Chips factory, the kids enjoyed the visit very much. Pay a visit to the lighthouse, you won’t regret. If you enjoy shopping as much as I do, then the Cape Cod Mall should be on your list. If we have the chance to go back to Hyannis, we will definitely stay at Cape Winds Resort again, very recommendable.

Room Tip: I like the ones with patio.
