We just returned from a long weekend at the Cape and cannot say enough about our stay. The entire hotel is amazingly clean, both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Spacious room, very quiet. The day manager was so thoughtful, as were all of the staff, he arranged for champagne in our room for our anniversary. On our last day we did not have enough time to visit the nearby beach before check out, but he told us to go, relax and enjoy, which we did, then gave us a treat bag as we left. You do not find this level of service often. So many special touches, coffee and cookies, fire pit with blankets for guests, private balconies, homemade muffins at breakfast served by the hostess with a smile and greeting for everyone. Superior housekeeping, all so friendly. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Second floor room was very quiet, lovely breeze and view on private balcony.

This hotel is a really good place to relax and enjoy summer. The facilities and staff do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms comfortable, but getting a bit worn. Pool and fire pit area really nice. Great sea view from both.

Ferry tip: if you're going to Nantucket by the speed ferry (without vehicle) don't try to get parking by the terminal. Park at the hotel if you can, or at the lot at the "next door" restaurant on South Street.

Room Tip: Get a room on the second floor for more light and better sea views. But bring a sweater, it can get...

The Anchor in is beautifully located and a fantastic place to stay when visiting Cape Cod.
We stayed here for two nights. Our room was big and bright with two large beds and a nice bacony with a view of the harbour.
All the staff that we met where really nice and helpful. We had to leave really early in the morning and the person responsible for breakfast gave us muffins an coffee to go well before the regularisering breakfast time.
We can highly recommend this hotel

Booked for two nights on tour in New England. Great location and attentive staff. The breakfast while limited and continental style is high quality. But the hotel needs some TLC, rooms are a little tired and certainly need better sound proofing particularly regards running water ! While I realise this is a motel, hotel prices are being charged. Better value exists out there

Dear Valued Guest. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your Complimentary Continental Breakfast. We are sorry to hear that we fell short of your expectations with your guest room. We would have embraced the opportunity to make your stay more comfortable if you had made us aware of any issues during your stay. "tired" is inconsistent with the fact that all of our guest rooms have been completely renovated recently. When looking closely for waterfront lodging in Hyannis and on Cape Cod considering location, quality, service and price point you will find Anchor In second to none. We look forward to making your next visit to Cape Cod a most memorable one. It would be our pleasure to assist you personally.

Sincerely
Lisa and Skip Simpson

This is an older hotel and in a few features it shows but the location and the staff overshadowed that fact.

You wake up to a view of the harbour across the lawn and pool. I was dying to get in the pool but weather and time stopped me!

The reception guy who was on when we arrived was so very helpful, especially when we were telling him about a blown out tyre we had experienced whilst driving here. He told us to report to the rental and how to get there etc. which we did - so he was very helpful.

The breakfast and seating are great - we had a good stay here and would recommend.

My family of 4 recently stayed at the Anchor In and thoroughly enjoyed it. We received a warm welcome and restaurant recommendations upon check-in. We appreciated the selection of restaurant menus in the lobby as well. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and we felt very much at home.

There was a good breakfast every morning and games available in the library. The pool area is nice as was the fire each night. And my daughter's enjoyed the afternoon cookies! The hotel is within walking distance of the harbour and Main Street, both with a variety of restaurants, and there are a number of great beaches a short drive away.

The attentive staff thought of everything, right down to a travel bag with water bottles and candies when we checked out. Thank you Anchor In, we would highly recommend staying here!

We were at a loss over where to stay in Cape Cod as there is very little to choose from in between high end resorts and low end motels but we definitely made the perfect choice. This was an extremely clean hotel with great service and amenities for a smaller property. They truly pay attention to details here and that extra mile that they go really makes a huge difference. We cannot wait to come back here again.
