I was in Hyannis for a night before meeting up with friends. This hotel was walking distance to the main drag street & beaches. Francis at the desk was so nice and helpful! Great breakfast included and the sun room was so cute! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here two nights this month, and wish we had made our trip longer to have more time here. We were doing a New England trip that included Boston and Newport, RI as well. We decided when we come back (definitely coming back since we loved everything about New England) this is where we will stay. We chose this hotel because we wanted to spend a day at Nantucket and didn't want to lose more travel time. The hotel is within walking distance to the ferry, so it was perfect.
Upon arrival, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The room was so bright, cheerful, and very clean. We walked to Main Street during the day and did some shopping. We also went back there for dinner. All of Cape Cod is so accessible from the hotel. We found an awesome spot about 45 minutes away to watch the sunset over the water. Our first night we sat out at the fire pit and enjoyed being out there with complimentary tea and hot chocolate. Our second night, there was a little rain, so we were glad they had a DVD player in the room to watch a movie we had brought.
We both left saying how much we loved our time there. We can't wait to come back!

We were spending a week in Cape Cod and then traveling around New England. We booked three nights at the Anchor In and enjoyed our stay so much we asked for another night. We picked Hyannis as a base to take the ferries to both Nantucket and Martha's Vyd. as well as touring the nearby towns of Sandwich and Chatham. Hyannis has lots of good restaurants so this turned out to be a wonderful location to use as a base for Cape Cod

The reason for the five stars and excellent rating is not only was the property well maintained, our room lovely but the staff was incredible. Cara checked us in and gave us assistance with the local area. Janet was helpful in extending our stay and also giving us information. The whole staff was friendly not only to us but to all the other guests too. Easy to see the staff is well tuned into all the guest .

Chris in particular was incredible . Not only giving us two great restaurant recommendation but also mapping out suggestions for our extra time after leaving Cape Cod. He printed out info for touring the Mansions in Newport R.I. as well as pointed us to the Berkshires and seeing the Norman Rockwell Museum. He should be a travel agent.

If your touring the Cape Cod area you will be well treated here. I highly recommend staying here in this charming and very well run hotel

Room Tip: we asked for a room with a water view

This was our first trip to Cape Cod and I chose the Anchor In based on Trip Advisor reviews. The great reviews were completely accurate. The whole property is clean & well kept and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, with many options. My husband & I were here on a weekend trip, but would definitely stay here with our kids if we ever took a family trip to Hyannis. Loved that there were a variety of board games and reading material in the Library, with coffee & hot chocolate, and directly next to the beautiful sitting area that looks out to the pool and harbor. When we asked for directions to the beach, the front desk staff offered us beach chairs to bring and had good suggestions for food and travel for the rest of our stay. A great place with excellent staff.

I recently stayed at the Anchor In in Hyannis and I was impressed from the start. The location is a short walk to Main St and the ferry's. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on restaurants and bars and what to see while there. I have stayed on the Cape before in other locations but I would highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, cleanliness. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool was very nice as well. Make sure you hang by the Firepit in the evening to unwind.

An absolute gem of a Hotel, perfect settings. The staff were so friendly we arrived early but were able to leave our bag until the room was ready. Reception staff were really helpful pointing out places to eat. We ate at one of their recommendations "The Black Cat Tavern" great meal. We were traveling around and this was by far the nicest Hotel we stayed in, wish we had booked in for a few more nights. Would highly recommend

Room Tip: We didn't choose a room, they all seemed to have great views of the harbour

Stayed for two nights at the Anchor as part of a driving tour of New England and really wished we had built longer into the schedule. We were made very welcome on arrival and had a lovely room with superb furnishings in a style which went well with the building and which overlooked the estuary. Breakfast in the Library was a very extensive buffet and the staff were remarkably helpful and well informed on restaurants for dinner (we liked the Black Cat). Coffee was available. There is an outdoor pool but we were touring and looking for JFK history so didn't find the time. The hotel is very convenient for the ferries and walking either into town on down to the coast walk.
