A fantastic little hotel in a great part of town. Staff are amazing, breakfast was great, rooms are super-clean and lovely, view was great...what's not to like.

Was too cold to use the pool when we were there but looked lovely and would love to go back in the summer to take advantage. Location is great and walking distance to loads of lovely bars and restaurants.

If thinking where to go in Cape Cod, look no further than the Anchor In, its superb.

Room Tip: Any room upstairs to make the most of the harbour view.

We stayed for two nights in the Marston Mills Suite. Wonderful room with integral kitchen and dining area. Large bed, sitting area and dressing/wardrobe room. Great view from the balcony to the harbour area. The only downside would be that the bathroom is on the small side for the size of room (although one appreciates that the nature of the hotel dictates this situation). No place to store or layout one's toiletries.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Inclusive continental breakfast and afternoon tea with muffins was much appreciated and of a good quality. Didn't use the heated outdoor swimming pool.

Great location for exploring Cape Cod but be aware of numerous early morning flights (6am onwards) from local airport to the Islands.

This review is written as we checked in...so far I am moderately impressed...it is clean...however after booking ahead of time, here we sit on the 1st fl listening to the ny'rs in the room above us who 'found this hotel on a whim' & got a better room than us....apparently because they are 'fully booked'.....here we are in an average room at best. We'll see how they rectify the situation .... To be continued...

Harbourside location with great views started our US trip well. Very good check-in with helpful advice then we saw the room - most impressed. We had chosen a twin bedded room on the East side which was most comfortable. Nice balcony with views of the harbour and the pool area. Next morning we hit breakfast and were delighted by the quality and variety offered. Another nice feature was the availaibility of tea & coffee throughout the afternoon and evening ( with cookies if you were fast enough!)

A good hotel that looks from the outside a bit like a motel but most definitely isn't. Thank you and well done!

Room Tip: East wing gets the afternoon sun

From the time we arrived (early) and were welcomed warmly, we knew we had lucked out.
We were given lots of good ideas for exploring the area.....don't miss Chatham, but cover your eyes if it's windy. We got out to watch the wind surfers, and got sand blasted!
breakfast in the morning was great, and they sent us off for the day with two bottles of water and taffy to go!
We will be back!

Room Tip: If you like afternoon sun over the harbor, ask for an East facing room

This was our first time to Cape Cod and we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. I had researched hotels all over the island and fell in love with the Hyannis Room at the Anchor In. Our room was perfect! Spacious, clean, comfortable and a great wraparound deck with an awesome view of the harbor. The Front Desk staff were so helpful and responsive to our needs. Directions, restaurant recommendations (lots of menus are available for you to review). The continental breakfast was delicious - hot, fresh food and beverage everyone to enjoy either in the library or on the porch. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice of hotel. The staff makes you feel so welcome! We were delighted to see a bottle of champagne in our room upon our arrival wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Upon our departure, we received a lovely bag of bottle waters and taffy. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel! Simply the BEST!

Room Tip: We loved the Hyannis Room - great views and lots of comfortable space in the room - check out the ho...

The room we had was tight as it had two queen beds and there was only a tiny space between the bed and the patio door and the other bed and the wall. So it was cramped for a $200 a night room. A king sized bed would have been much better. But very well maintained and clean.Nice view from the deck. Breakfast was nicely done. It was not elaborate, no hot food. Some of the chains do better these days. (Most do worse). The location was great, parking was convenient, the people very nice. I would stay again but ask for a KS bed, if they have them.
