Description: The name "Colombo" is the Italian form of "Colomba" the latin word for "dove", which is the "Bird of Peace". It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the everyday occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions. Colombo's Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the "gathering place"... Truly a place that "welcomes everyone, everyday... At any time" translating as "Benvenuti a tutti" in Italian, whereby the tried and true, centuries-old tradition of "all are welcome" prevails.Open seven days a week, year round, from 11:30am for lunch and dinner.

The food was average. It was crowded and they were struggling to keep up with the tables.
Food was average, service good. Convenient location. Perhaps on a quieter night it would be better.

Ate outside at a quaint table for two at 8:00 on a Wednesday night. Inside was very noisy. The menu offered a wide variety of choices. I had spinach linguine with white clam sauce, and my spouse had a salmon dish; both were delicious! A HUGE bakery-style dessert case with loads of choices, including gelato (samples available!). Unfortunately, we did not like what we choose: a cream puff with heavy, custard filling instead of whipped cream, and a cannoli with smooth filling instead of the traditional ricotta-type. Our waiter was pleasant although we did not see him very frequently. Would recommend you try Colombo's for yourself!

The restaurant look nice and the waiter was very friendly but the food was not ok, I got a burned pizza and the only thing the waiter could say was: " well I didn't make it, you know". We did not have to pay for it but its very unproffesional to serve something like that.

Made no reservations and the waitress wanted to seat us outside next to the guitar player.
we refused ( to noisy!) and got seated all the way in the back. Great view of the parking lot !
I have to admit, food was good. Overpriced...but good.
The waiter thought to much of himself. What a shame. Please be a bit more genuine next time

We went to this restaurant on a busy Thursday night in the summer. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table but there was plenty of space to wait. They gave us a buzzer to alert us when the table was ready. We sat indoors but there was also an outdoor area with a live musician. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere was fun (a little loud but we enjoy that). Our server was Frankie, he made our experience great. He even offered to make a special salad for a picky eater in our group. The food was outstanding. We ordered the frutta di mare, a salmon and clam special, a pizza and a salad. The red wine we ordered (Arancio pinot noir) was delicious and reasonably priced. This was the least expensive yet best meal we had on our trip to Cape Cod. Give it a try.
