Interesting tour down corridor if windows. Self guided with large posters of interesting facts and details on the factory's history and what's happening behind the windows! I was as fascinated by the machines and working processes as by the chips. For going on your free your you also get a free bag of chips! It's not a day out but it's a fun detour.
Bag clips and related gifts in small shop at end
You'll either love it or hate it!

Well it's small and pretty quick. 20 minutes long. You go through the hallway and look through the windows to watch the production line. Lots of info and pictures on the walls. The kids loved seeing the process. And at the end of the "tour" there's 2 small sample bags each! Was a great way to spend 20-30 minutes. And their chips are the best out there so it's a win/win.

Self guided tour where you watch the factory through windows. Fun to see the behind-the-scenes of the delicious snack.
Gift shop at end. Fair prices and friendly staff.
Worth stopping in if in area.

"Self-guided tour" is really just a fancy way of saying "read along as you navigate down a moderately sized hallway overlooking the potato chip factory". The entire thing probably took about 10 minutes.

That said, what a cute stop. Really glad we made it. You certainly can't beat the price tag (free); Really they pay -you- since you leave two bags of chips heavier than when you arrive.

We learned a good deal, bought some flavored chips in the souvenir shop, and then went about our day. Why WOULDN'T you stop before leaving the Cape?

It's just really a quick self-guided walk through of the factory. It's free, but nothing amazing really. You do score a free small bag of chips at the end at least.
