If you've ever eaten a Cape Cod potato chip, it's worthwhile to visit the tour. The entire thing takes around 10 minutes at most. You walk at your own pace watching the chips get made and bagged. You can read posters about how the chips are made, and the history of the company. At the end of the tour, they give you a sample bag, and you can also buy the products. It's close to Main Street, so if you're in the area, stop in on your way out.

Enjoyed reading the posters about the potato chips. This is a quick tour that does not require a lot of time. The chips are very yummy.

It's a walk-through "tour" where you read signs along a wall and walk down a hallway to the gift shop. Interesting, but short and limited. But the joy is that it ends with some yummy free bags of Cape Cod chips (which are my favorite)!

The whole thing is free, so what's to lose?

How can one come to Cape Cod and NOT visit the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory, right? I was thankful that this was a free tour. However, you get what you pay for. The tour was really a walk along the hallway of their main building. There were windows so you could look into the work area while you read about what they do past those windows. It was not easy to see things though. The different pieces of information on the wall were interesting enough, not too long and technical that it would be boring to read to a child. You can rush through the tour in 15 minutes or take your time to read everything and try to piece what you read with what you see...and you'd still be done within 30 minutes.

The souvenir store was great, of course. Loved that we could have 2 little sample packs per visitor. The price of the bags of chips though were more expensive than the deal at the Stop & Shop supermarket nearby...but then again, to be able to say you brought back Cape Cod Potato Chips from the factory itself in Cape Cod for souvenirs....well, that's priceless :-)

I'm sorry I could not rate this more than average because there really was not much that was offered. What was offered however, I did enjoy. Thank you for opening some parts of your operation to us and NOT charging for us to see that small part. BTW - you can actually "see" more on the Factory Tour video on the website.

We went to the factory since I've always like Cape Cod chips. Its a self guided tour you read information pasted on each window you view. There are workers inside and at the end theres a gift shop and you also can take 2 little bags of potato chips.
