“Shells and Boats”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2014

Had a great spring day on Kalmus. This is the perfect time of year to go no crowds on the beach and a great beach for shell lovers. Also enjoyed just sitting and watching some boats come out of the harbor, many more in the summer.

“Great for shells”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

Great beach for picking up shells and for watching the sailboats head out each year for the annual Figawi Sailboat race to Nantucket over Memorial Day weekend. Good for families and centrally located. Plenty of parking!

“DOG POO”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2014

This entire area has wonderful beaches, truly world class. But the local dog walker don't keep it clean, On our visit was in early May 2014 and we had to be very careful walking to and from the beach as the grass area above was a minefield of dog excrement.

“Windy but pretty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2014

My husband and I like to swim at Kalmus throughout the summer. Its fun to watch the kiteboarders and the water is usually pretty warm towards the end of the summer. The good thing about this beach is it never seems to be overcrowded. This might be due to the fact that it can become quite windy at times
