We spent a quiet morning at Kalmus and were the only family on the beach! Our girls loved collecting shells and playing on the beach. It was safe, clean and relaxing, and walkable distance to restaurants, coffee and the downtown. Parking was fine in the morning and was free.

We made our visit to the beach before the start of the busy summer season and didn't have too pay a fee. It was great!! We sat on the beach and watched the ocean and were able too collect some shells. What a great way too relax after a day of sightseeing!

We went pre-season so the beach was empty. For an empty beach, it could have been more litter-free but otherwise, we took a pleasnat walk along the shoreline.
