Description: Jake's has been serving award winning fresh seafood for over 50 years! We are a seasonal (open April-November) restaurant located in beautiful Nantasket Beach directly on the water! We feature a full service seafood market for those wanting to take fresh seafood home and prepare for themselves and offer a full liquor service as well as a children's menu.

The food is generally excellent, with always fresh oil for the fried foods, which is evident in the flavor. You will pay downtown prices however for modestly sized portions. It is generally fried food after all is said and done, though broiled baked items can be found in the menu.
Seafood is expensive about anywhere tho, since we fished out George's Bank. The last time I went there for my annual contribution to a local rest., I was not very satisfied with the quality of my meal. The place is directly waterfront, though at low tide, not that appealing a view. Not their fault...

$28 for 2 small, well vodka cran, and 2 DRAFT beers. Not Kettle One, Not Grey Goose. Just Smirnoff or whatever. Just know going in, it's pricey. Service was good, meals were typical, but not "to die for". I won't wait for a table again, that's for sure. But I still can give it a 4.

Been going to Jake's for years at least three times per year. Went for the first time this year and was put off by the high prices and slimmed down portions. A bowl if chowder came in a cup sized saucer. You could count the pieces of seafood on two hands in our $27.00 seafood platter smothered in french fries. The waitress was embarrassed. Very good service and a lively clean atmosphere. Not again!

A bit pricey, but great fresh seafood and spectacular sunset views. Can be quite busy on summer weekends, so go mid-week for a first visit.

It's a bit over-priced and the selections are not very exciting in general, but it's the best seafood in Hull and a very pleasant atmosphere. The Portugese calamari as an appetizer is very good!
