Walk along concrete sidewalks, or along great beach. Many paddle boarders and surfers. We walked at least 3 miles to northeast from Nantasket Resort, about 3/4 mile to south.

We really enjoyed the beach, clean, not rocky, close to hotels and outdoor bars, lots of music. Would definitely go there again. Great for families.

beautiful beach - nearly three miles of smooth sandy coast. The waves were a little more likely than usual, probably due to Hurricane Isaac.
It was a beautiful relaxing day with friends and sun and surf - can't beat it.

We were there in August, great weather all week, and surprisingly the beach was not very crowded so it was very relaxing. The water was slightly cold but very invigorating.

They have mile markers near the Beachfire restaurant at the beginning of the beach. You know how long you have walked. If you go onto the beach farther down, esp. during lower tide, it's a cool walk, uncrowded and lovely.
