“The Carousel is about the only remaining nostalgic momento from long ago.”
Reviewed January 31, 2012

Hadn't been to Nantasket for years. Last summer when to spend the day on the beach (delightful as long ago) but really wished the park still remained (the roller coaster was awesome!). Today there are condo complexes and numerous restaurants but alas no wild rides!

“Great beach”
Reviewed January 23, 2012

Nice sandy beach, especially on low tide. Parking can be difficult in summer months.

“AKA Trashbasket”
Reviewed January 17, 2012

I grew up on this so waxing nostalgic isnt happening here.First off water is ice cold except in August.Second tide comes up to rocks so nowhere to sit hence my title as people seem to think that nature will dispose of their garbage. Head to the cape or RI for beaches or North SHore if you have the means

“life's a beach!”
Reviewed January 14, 2012

I took the neice and nephew to the beach very early on a September morning when the sun was bright and the tide was very low-- we went all the way to the north end of the beach and played around in the tide pools.
The kids found it fascinating to see the star fish in the tidal pools, along with small crabs, baby brine shrimp and lots of interesting pools with life teaming in them.
Be sure to make sure they know to look but not to remove any of the animals.
It was an eye opening a very educational trip for both children-- ages 10 and 15.

“A great Sunrise”
Reviewed January 11, 2012

One of my favorite beaches to watch the Sunrise and to get HUGE ( 4-5 inches) clam shells !
