We stayed here for 1 night for a friend's wedding. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The views of the ocean are great. The rooms are not very quiet though.

The only disappointing part of our stay was during the actual ceremony. A few rude staff members were talking very loudly right outside of the ceremony and one of the coordinators walked into the ceremony multiple times. A wedding guest actually walked out of the ceremony and asked the staff members to be quiet.

Other than that, the reception was great. The bartenders and waitstaff were very friendly and good at their jobs.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view, great restaurant and everything you could ever need!
Most importantly, the people who work at the Resort deserve great praise!....we were there for the marathon, had no idea what to expect as we'd never been to Boston. Kathy C. was FABULOUS! She bent over backwards to make sure we were well taken care of, had access to any information needed and truly made our family feel special and welcome. We can't thank her enough for the stupendous care and service. True customer service! Honorable mention to Miss Katie as well! Oh, and can't forget our reliable shuttle drivers ~ thank you!!
In addition, the beach was great, resort was clean, ferry is THE BEST! Thank you for welcoming us to Boston!

Room Tip: Must stay in a room with the ocean view ~ awesome!

Our room was lovely. Ocean view king bed, fireplace, jetted tub. Free breakfast in the made to order restaurant. We ate all of our meals at the hotel's restaurant. Food was excellent and very affordable. Loved the ocean view and walking area by the beach! April prices were very affordable. Not sure we could afford the room on season.

Room Tip: Choose an oceanview room. Comes with a balcony.

First of all to get to the hotel from Logan you can either do one of 2 things 1- pay 16 dollars a person to ride the ferry the. Pay the hotel an additional 5 dollars to pick you up. 2-take the subway and get a week long pass for 18 dollars ( very worth it) then pay the hotel additional money to pick you up. When we called the hotel before booking the reservation we were told the shuttle service was free. However 2 days before checking in they told us of the additional charges for them to pick us up from the ferry or train station. Then every time we would need to go to the subway or the train there would be a cost. Miss leading information put this rating down to a 1. Beds are not that great. Pool is alright. The bar is OK but mostly bar food. We ordered pizza and nachos- pizza was burnt and our nachos weren't even warm plus the 20 minutes to get service Room rate was OK but if I were to know that we had to rent a car because it was cheeper them the shuttle we would of paid more to stay in Boston.

Overall- beds are OK. Pool is Normal staff are OK

The bad- the shuttle service is charged per person along with each way as well. Anywhere from 5-6 dollars per person per each way
You are going to want to rent a car to get to the subway or train

The good- beach is like 20 feet away. Rooms are OK. Tub has jets

What's not to like? a nice hotel across the street from a wonderful beach, a 30 min. ferry ride to Boston Harbor, a very good, reasonable priced on-site restaurant, friendly accommodating staff, so many good things. We had a king, full ocean front room.

Not to Like - The fact that the best level room was that small was a bit disappointing but not as disappointing as the view through the smallest "patio-type" door I've ever seen. To get a halfway decent view of the ocean you had to be just in the right spot in the room AND find a way to keep the drape from covering half of the window! Also, the "private balcony" is so small that you could not put the chair in the room on the balcony, right their are no chairs on the balcony.

We had a Groupon which sometimes aren't that great a deal so its hard to judge the value / price and the weather was not good but still the place was half-full and that's a testimony to its popularity.

We chose this location because of the beach directly across the street. Our room was a good size and some upgrades were evident; new bathroom with soaker tub, gas fireplace and comfy, clean beds. Some furnishings were a little worn and the curtains were sun worn, but all in all, the stay was very relaxing. The onsite restaurant was very good with fresh, tasty, and plentiful helpings. The beach and the surrounding villages were the star of the show. We will return and next time try taking the ferry into Boston for the day as it goes to the wharf near the Boston Aquarium.

Room Tip: We were in a full ocean view room...I would ask for top floor next time.

There were some good points and some awfully bad points.

Starting with the good, there's a beautiful beach on it's doorstep. It's a nice and clean hotel with plenty of facilities including a games room and a fireplace in the bedrooms.

However, the bad, there are no changing rooms for men/women for the pool. There is one shower with a shower curtain on the side of the pool area with a changing area/bench. We were fortunate that there was no one else using the pool at the time, so it was ok to change there but, once you were changed you stepped straight into the pool area and after you had swam, you would shower and dress in that same one shower with a shower curtain separating you and everyone else in the pool. I understand some hotels don't have the facilities to allow you to wash and dry in dedicated changing rooms, but I would have preferred it if they had provided bathrobes so you could walk through the hotel with the robe. Also, to go from the lift to the pool, you have to go through the lobby, which meant you either walked through having not showered, because you chose to do so in your room or you walked through with wet hair as there is no hair dryer in the pool area. Also, there is no spinner to spin dry your swimming wear or hanging line in the bathroom.

Another thing, and I had thankfully read this from other tripadvisor reviewers, be careful where you park! You have to ask at reception for a special dashboard voucher to say you are a hotel guest and must park in the bays marked hotel guests. Also, there aren't many spaces so during peak season, this may be a problem.
