We arrived at the busiest time on a Saturday night, without a reservation. We didn't have to wait too long, the outside bar and fire-pit facing the ocean, made the time pass by that much faster. We were seated on the upstairs patio, facing the ocean, and the view was incredible (we were there long enough to see the sunset). We ordered the Fried Clam Plate and the classic Macaroni and Cheese with a side of greens. The food was scrumptious. Topping the dinner off was a delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Dessert with Vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. Like I said, "Great View, Great Service, and Great Food!"

WHAT a difference a year makes. We are locals and last year we WANTED to like Beachfire. This year after the post-storm remodel adding beautiful terraces, hiring of new management and the summer search for a new wait staff-with a new chef...they got it right and we couldn't be more thrilled.
Except for the exceptional Bridgeman's most locals will not come to the beach area to eat, it isn't relaxing and the food is so-so, but this is now a little jewel at Nantasket Beach. Use either the front door or the beach entrance...for a sweeping view ask to sit on the terraced patio.
It is beach food, but it is good beach food served at a leisurely pace. They have a great new drinks menu and it was interesting to see how many people ate and then moved to the bar....because frankly the beach was crowded and it was high tide. Why venture down when, you could wait out the tide while seeing all seven miles of our beach.
The new staff is enthusiastic and even on Father's Day, the food service was even handed and our order came out as it should.
I will go back with friend's and try some of the beautiful cocktails I saw people carrying around. So glad Hull finally has a place where you can see the best of our beaches, have some great seafood and grab a great burger. Ages 14-58, well satisfied.
Hope they add Sunday brunch.

Our party of six had visited Beachfire on a Saturday night. We were seated on an elevated deck, but would recommend asking to be seated on the level with the firepit for better views. The food was good - we had mixed fried seafood platters, swordfish and clam chowder, all of which were tasty. The service however, was more like the opening night of a restaurant, instead of the second season of operation. The waiter would vanish for long stretches of time, drink orders were forgotten and when food was delivered there was confusion as to which diner (or even which table) it was intended for. At first the mixed ups were amusing, but by the end of the meal it was more annoying than cute. We'll try one more time to see if this was an off night for Beachfire.

We frequently visit Nantasket Beach. This was our first visit to this new restaurant in a location that has changed ownership many times. We went for a late evening bite. The evening was warm enough to sit outside on the patio. The views were fabulous. The staff was friendly. We split a caesar sallad and a burger with fries. This made for a very pleasant late meal. The firepit created a nice atmosphere and warmed the evening air. I will definitely return.
