I had to trek to this bakery as they are the folks who produce the crusts for Baba Louie's pizza in Great Barrington. It's on the main drag in town. Go there. The pizza and salad is redic.
But on to these fine folks. We had the pleasure of going there shortly after their dark chocolate ciabattas came from the oven. We bought two which did make it into the car but not too far down the road. We even stopped by the next day for more, but they were gone (no surprise there!). Conveniently, they have a freezer of all of their goods so instead of two more ciabattas, we took home 6 frozen ones. They freeze great! AND they are fab in the toaster oven -- had one last night and that wee bit of meltiness to the chocolate -- wow.
While you're there, pick up some frozen spelt pizza crusts -- you can pretend you're at Baba Louie's at home.
