“Local garden fresh tomatoes, lettuce and more in January”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

Nothing is better than the fixins for a garden fresh salad locally grown. Especially in January. Yumm. Beefsteak tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, cucumber, basil. Gluten free items available. Friendly staff.

“Farm Fresh Foods & Ice Cream....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

This is not a sit down restaurant, really. There are some picnic tables outside for the warmer months and apparently the last reviewer knows of an inside seating area that I missed....This is more of a place where you come and take dinner or lunch home.

The foods are all fresh and there are a lot of options...great hydro grown veggies, other fresh fruits and veggies (from other local farms) for purchase plus gourmet dry foods and great dinners/lunches to go! They also have breakfast items and a small selection of pastries and cupcakes too. These are a little hit or miss, as I have had great ones and I have had some not so fresh ones...

Oh and they have an ice cream window for the warmer months. I wish this was a local ice cream option or even better homemade, but I believe it is Hershey's. So, not bad, just not overwhelmingly delicious (but I am a bit of an ice-cream connoisseur).

In any event, the owners certainly believe in what they are doing with the hydro growing and everyone you come in contact here is nice and clearly committed to customer service. This was true when my son accidentally dropped his Snapple bottle onto the concrete floor and it smashed into pieces and they graciously picked it up for us.

So, I say stop in and give it a try. If you live locally, this is an easy way to take part in the farm to table movement that helps to reduce the average number of miles that our food travels before it reaches our kitchens (1500 miles is what I hear).....

“Hydroponics with a splash - GREEN with a new twist...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

Find of the century! An amazing place for families and individuals who want to truly “Grow Green”. Inspiring business owner is usually on premise to give tours and explain his hydroponic success. Also available is learning/meeting space to comingle with groups for lunch/dinner or just to have ice cream or a snack. Foods are prepared fresh there; excellent Panini’s, baked desserts and even some full meals (available frozen as well). But let’s not forget the veggies – tons of freshly grown hydroponic and truly GREEN fruits and vegetables of all kinds, along with specialty condiments and other healthy products. They even have a fresh-made smoothie bar…delicious! Definitely worth a stop, and you'll become a fan too!
