Heritage Hill Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #2 of 2 Holland B&B and Inns

We stayed here for only one night and wish we had stayed longer.

The B & B is in a scenic location and the room we stayed in was lovely - wonderful New England charm. The room was spacious and beautifully clean.

The breakfast was great - cooked by our wonderful hosts - Ron and Ginger. They were so friendly and chatty and made us feel so much at home. It was a real pleasure to stay there.

I would recommend the Heritage HIll if you are planning to stay in the Sturbridge area - and it is only a couple of miles from Sturbridge Old Village.

The Heritage Hill B & B is near Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts. The B & B is immaculate, the breakfasts fantastic, but the best thing about staying here are the innkeepers, Ron & Ginger Seaburg. They made us feel like relatives there for a visit. The B & B is actually in the town of Holland, but very close to Sturbridge. Our room was very comfortable (see photos) and pretty. Breakfast is served in a spacious room with huge windows and views of the flower beds and birds. The first morning we had custom-made omelets, sausage, muffins, and fantastic bowls of cut-up fruit. The second morning we had blueberry pancakes that were as light and fluffy as grandma used to make, with all the trimmings.
When we arrived Ron explained that Ginger was recovering from an operation, but it didn't slow her down much. She still greeted us with her cheerful smile and lively conversation. Since our stay was a break from 10 days of camping in a tent, Ron even hosed down our muddy ground cloth for us, and noticed one of our tires was a bit low, so he pumped it back up. Ron and Ginger really go the extra mile to assure their guests' comfort. If you like antiques you'll enjoy peeking in the other fabulous rooms of the house. I hesitate to even mention this place for fear it will be full the next time we visit, but our sense of fairness requires we tell others about it. Old Sturbridge Village re-creates a town from around 1830 using actual buildings moved to the site and costumed workers going about the businesses of the era including making pottery, shoes, teaching in the school, and cooking in the cottages. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby as well as interesting shopping. We loved the gentle old house and the people who own it here! Mary and Jim Brigham
