I recently attended a rehearsal dinner here, which was held upstairs in the big room off the bar. I didn't look around downstairs, but the space we were in was very nice. The place definitely has some curb appeal as well.
The food was excellent. We had a set menu for the occasion: salad or chowder to start, choice of surf & turf, swordfish or beef tenderloin, and for dessert there was ice cream or warm chocolate cake. My table of 6 had everything, and we were all very happy with our choices. My husband is usually particular about his steak and he had no complaints with this one. He was also pretty fond of the chowder.
I found the staff to be professional, helpful and courteous.
I did feel like it took a while for the food to come out, but then again there were probably 50 people in our party. It was a full house on top of that so I guess it's actually impressive that the kitchen managed to not overcook the food.
I would definitely go back.
