“Great craft beer selection good burgers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013 via mobile

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to check out the 39 beers on tap. Nice selection of beer I enjoyed a Stone Best by 11-12-13 great IPA I got one of the last glasses from the very last keg... I was very lucky. My wife had a Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin she absolutely loved.

We each ordered a burger.. Hers a classic and mine a blue cheese burger. They were both very good and fit the bill for a Saturday afternoon. The fries were ok but the frozen type.

We will be going back ... Good neighborhood joint.

“Nice burger joint”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

Okay note to owner, hanging lights over the bar, that um, block the TSS so you can't watch the game is something you should change. Otherwise nice decor, friendly staff, huge beer on draft selection and pretty good burgers. The burger could use a little more flavor. Not sure if it was just the beef that day but definitely would try it again. Go for the fries, I don't think the onion rings are homemade (or they should change the recipe if they are!). Seems like a nice crowd and there's a lot more on the menu other than burgers. Specials sounded great so I'm going to have to go back.

“Our First Time Visit To Haverhill”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2013

On our way to Ogunquit we met up with friends of ours that live in Haverhill. They suggested this restaurant for lunch. Being Sunday from New York State we were pleasantly surprised to learn you can get a beer here anytime after 10AM. Craft beer selection is excellent with dozens to choose from. The service and food was very good with portion sizes generous. We had a great time here and there was a sizable crowd for a late Sunday morning. We'll be sure to stop again next year on our next trip to Maine.

“Pretty Average PUb Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

Once again I listened to the Phantom Gourmet and found a so so restaurant. It was a bright environment and the food was good. Not FABULOUS as advertised but good. I had a veggie wrap and my husband had a burger. He also had onion rings which were homemade. They were kind of greasy and seemed to be beer battered. The prices were what one would expect at this type of restaurant. Service was very good. If I was in the area, I might eat there again but I would not make a special trip there for the food.

“Food was OK, will stop in again if we are in the area”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday while out running errands. The restaurant was nice and had a decent size full service bar. We sat in the dinning room where there were only a couple other customers, all others were at the bar. We has hoped for a bit of a heavier lunch since it was late in the afternoon but opted for burgers. Some of the prices were a bit on the expensive side for our liking (12 oz Prime Rib for $19.99), but that did not take away from the meal we had. The burgers were good, nothing to die for but certainly satisfying. The BBQ Chicken Cheese Fries were OK but we'd probably not order them again. For the extra 2 bucks, the portion wasn't huge. Coffee was a bit costly @ 2.25 for a cup and we were never asked if we wanted more. Service could have been a bit better, seeing as there were only 1 other table of customers in the dinning room and 3 girls on.
