Stopped by for dinner with the girlfriend.
We were sat down in the rear. The whole place seemed very dark. The waitress lit the candle on our table for some extra lighting. My first thought was that this place was a little run down because of the uneven ceiling with broken tiles, pipes protruding out the walls, and some duct work exposed, but it looks like it was freshly painted. So now I am thinking it was all installed on purpose. The floor is not supported correctly (really old building) which made our table bounce up and down slightly when people walked by, which was uncomfortable.
We ordered the steak tip and fish and chips. While waiting there were two children wandering around near the kitchen door and walking with waitresses, and then sometimes staring at us from less than four feet away. This was really uncomfortable, and then later found out they were the children of the manager or owner (They left with a man with a stack papers, and food from the back room).
The food was great. No problems other than some of my steak tips were rare and others were well done. My girlfriend said her fish was perfect.
This restaurant seems to be a great place for a "Bar" type atmosphere. I recommend coming here for a drink and some good food, but not a business or couples.
