Stayed for a weekend and had a lovely, relaxing time. The owners take good care of their guests and the property. The room was quaint and very clean. The breakfast was good and it was fun to meet and talk with other guests in the breakfast room. The gardens were lovely. Had a pool and was near the harbor. Easy access to town and route 28. Went to Monomoy Summer Stock Theater on Sat. night.in Chatham ( the best theater on the cape!) and only took about 15 mins. to get back to the Inn after seeing The King and I. Just wish the rates at the Inn were a little lower... But all in all ...happy we stayed there!

We spent the 4th of July weekend at the Allen Harbor Breeze while visiting family in Chatham. We were in the Cathedral room which was spacious, immaculate and had everything we needed. It is one of the larger rooms and has a daybed. Marie and Jim and kind hosts and maintain beautiful landscaping as well as a lovely pool, which we took a refreshing dip in one of the late afternoons we were there. The breakfast room is lovely and the homemade baked goods delicious. We took advantage of the many magazines and restaurant recommendations as well. The location is perfect; on Lower County Road which runs parallel to the always busy Rt. 28 but is far enough away for it to be a quiet and peaceful setting. A lovely harbor is right across the street, and you can walk to one of the town beaches. We'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: From the other reviews I have read, all the rooms are lovely if you have three people, you'll ne...

This is our 3rd stay at Allen Harbor Breeze Inn during Fall and Spring seasons. As we told Marie, we feel like "regulars" now! The property is amazingly manicured with blooming gardens and meticulous landscaping. The rooms are spotless, cozy and comfortable...oh, and charmingly decorated. Waking up to Marie's homemade breakfast selections in the welcoming and bright dining nook overlooking the pool is something to look forward to each morning. We are avid cyclists and the Inn's location in Harwich makes for ease in connecting with the Cape Cod Rail Trail to cycle either to Chatham or thru the local towns of Orleans and Eastham up to Wellfleet. Marie and Jim make you feel like one-of-the-family. With all the activities to do on the Cape and staying busy, Allen Harbor Breeze is terrific to go back to for some quiet time, as well. Thanks, Marie and Jim for adopting us as your guests from Connecticut!! We will be working on our 4th visit soon!

After my experience last year, I returned for another long Memorial Day weekend, and found it even more rejuvenating than the first. This time around I stayed in the Lilac Room, which was lovely and fragrant from the blossoms outside, and after two days of rain I made a beeline back to the Inn and onto my porch as soon as the sun started poking through the clouds, basking in that idyllic setting for the rest of the afternoon.

I can't say enough about Jim and Marie, who once again met my every need - sometimes even before I knew what I needed - and at the same time provided for the needs of a vastly different set of guests - families with young children: my hat is off to you for your hard work and hospitality on this very busy start-of-the-summer weekend.

Being able to walk the labyrinth and celebrate Sunday Mass right "next door" was an added plus, and I am grateful to Ann and Marie for their ministrations and to the St. Mary of Magdala community for their hospitality in welcoming the summer "strangers" every year.

I look forward to staying with you again soon.

We haven't been to the Cape for a weekend in a while and forgot how easy it is to fall in love with! Allen Harbor Breeze was the perfect home base. Our room was tidy, roomy and very cute with many little touches that were appreciated during our stay. Jim and Marie are wonderful innkeepers and offered us many suggestions and guidance around the area for places to visit, eat, etc. Each morning breakfast was served and was a delightful way to begin our day. I really enjoyed the location and atmosphere of Allen Harbor Breeze - it was quaint and peaceful, but yet extremely close by to many area attractions. A must-stay if you're on Cape - and very kid-friendly!!!

The Allen Harbor Breeze Inn & Gardens is a meticulously kept property. The rooms are well appointed and as beautiful as the gardens. A grass area on the property and/or a short walk to the beach provided activity space for the kids to have fun while we were on property. Located on a quiet street, this is a wonderful secluded getaway. Inn Keeper's Marie and Jim made arranging for a party of several families (30 people) simple and pleasant. We had a few in our party with some food allergies that were accommodated for in the breakfast spread. All felt welcome and truly enjoyed themselves. Thank you Marie & Jim! Sincerely, Eric.

You're welcome, Eric! We really enjoy having families stay with us, and we strive to create an atmosphere where children are welcome and feel a part of things. Cape Cod is such a wonderful setting for families to have the kind of fun we remember having when we were young - we're glad that everyone enjoyed all we have to offer here at Allen Harbor Breeze Inn and Gardens.

My two children and I stayed in one of the garden rooms through Memorial Day weekend. We were in the area for a youth soccer tournament. Several other families on our team also stayed at the Allen Harbor Breeze Inn this past weekend. Even with our many children, the inn was quiet and relaxing. Some flowers were just starting to bloom and my daughter loved them. Our hosts, Jim and Marie, were friendly and warm. They accommodated many special needs of the families that were in our group - including special gluten-free foods, late arrivals, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast, there was something for everyone incuding fresh fruit, waffles, muffins, juices, coffee and more. The rooms were small, but very clean and nicely decorated. The water pressure for the shower was strong, which is something important to me. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we will likely be returning next year.
