“Hidden Gem on the Cape… especially June/July”
Reviewed July 20, 2014

Trip Advisor people are known for sharing hidden gems and this is one! The Cape Cod Lavender Farm is free and a "must visit" for flower and nature lovers. As the Cape Cod Times headline stated “A whiff of Provence in Harwich”. That’s exactly right. The Sutphin family shares trails among the lavender fields for visitors to just wander and take in the beauty of their gardens. We visited the first week of July when the lavender was gorgeous and fragrant, not exactly sure when peak bloom is but it was beautiful on this day. They have a small gift shop with items such as sachets, soaps, dried bunches and several varieties of lavender plants. So glad we stopped by Cape Cod Lavender Farm. Cynthia and Anna, thank you for our wonderful afternoon among the lavender.

“Off the beaten path, but well worth it if you love lavender.”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

You access the small store after going through a residential neighborhood and driving a 1/4 mile +/- through the woods on a very narrow path. It is a loop, so you won't encounter a returning car. There are 16 acres, one acre of which is planted in about 6 different varieties of lavender. Owner said the best time to visit is in early July when everything is in full bloom. The shop is on an honor system if the owner isn't around. Lavender plants are $15 each. I bought some lavender and sage body butter ($6) based on some posted recommendations from other customers. It is indeed AMAZING! Also bought a paper bag (2 large scoops) of about 1/4 lb. of dried lavender buds ($16) to make some eye pillows for my yoga students.

“Delightful!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Beautiful, nature-filled walk! Lots of birds, gorgeous hydrangeas, and oh the lavender! Their sweet little shop has all kinds of goodies made with lavender! Bring your camera for some wonderful nature pictures with your family. This is a short walk, but a piece of the Cape that is a true gem tucked away in the woods!
