The Vitello Rosa is just fabulous. The Pasta Rusticata is also to die for. Start with the grilled romaine. The wonderful bread is great to have with any of their good choices of wines. We like to sit in the bar. Susana is a great wait person although most staff are good.

We visited Buca's last weekend hoping to get a table but were unable due to a full booking. However, we we're escorted to the bar and found the experience worthy of another visit. Appetizers and small dishes were wonderfully prepared and the wine selection may very we'll be the best on Cape. Can't miss with this restaurant.

The B&B we got married at made reservations here for our complimentary dinner! We had tried to get other restaurants in the area, but many are closed on Mondays. This to let you know Buca's wasn't our first choice. That being said we would come back here in a heartbeat. The menu was a little heavy on the fish side, but we're on Cape Cod, after all! We were both able to find something we were in the mood for. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting - loved it! The staff was attentive, without being right at your elbow. The food was plentiful and delicious! I'm sure it's very busy on the weekends, but if you go on an off time you won't be sorry. Definitely recommend Buca's!

While spending a romantic weekend on the Cape, the owner of the B&B we were staying at recommended Buca's. It was an incredibly wonderful, romantic, delicious dining experience. We had a late reservation (9 pm - we are from New York, so used to dining on the late side). We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted by the owner, who engaged in delightful conversation for the 10 minutes or so it took to get our table cleaned and reset. We had a lovely private booth in the cozy dining room, red checkered tablecloth, great ambiance. The wine list was very good - heavy Italian selection...they have a great splurge on Antinori Tiganello, one of my personal favorites, at $33 a glass. I settled for a lovely Aglianico, which perfectly complimented our shared appetizer called "fire in the hole" - lightly crusted fried calamari with fried hot peppers and a Tuscan tomato sauce on the side. Bread was delicious - kind of a cross between a focaccia and a yeasty Tuscan bread. We shared a delicious cod dish with pappardelle and a wonderful veal piccata with roasted potatoes. Both were superb. Service was topnotch - attentive, yet unobtrusive. Although we were quite full after our meal (portions are large), we shared a piece of a white Tuscan cake with a fig filling that was delicious and unique (I need the recipe!). If you are visiting the Cape and want to dine at a very special place, this is it!

A wonderful family dinner on the Friday night of Memorial Day Weekend. We started with Buca's appetizer of the cold La Tur cheese plate with roasted tomatoes, olives and grilled crostini. Another appetizer we selected was the grilled artichoke hearts. Both were absolutely delicious. Dinner entrees included sautéed sole and shrimp with pappardelle pasta; hot italian sausage with sautéed shrimp with pappardelle pasta. These were prepared perfectly and were outstanding. Buca's is always a good choice for dinner when on Cape Cod. It's important to make reservations.
