We have been going to Brax for many years. It is a regular stop on each vacation. The location is great - harbor views with boats, birds and Nantucket Bay. You can eat indoors with great view through the walls of glass or eat out on the patio under an umbrella. Great service by friendly and very competent staff. Best of all, the food is great! Had the best lobster dinner of my life here a few years ago, out on the patio with friends. Everything on the menu is good and the portions are healthy. You may have to wait for a table in season, but it is definitely worth it. They have a brunch buffet on Sunday that is amazing.

The atmosphere was wonderful overlooking many boats in the water. The waitress was friendly and explained the specials and got us a wonderful bloody mary. My wife had the seafood supreme and I had steak tips and stuffed shrimp. The food was hot and delicious and the side of mashed potatos was good too. The prices were fair and the food great

Six friends and I, along with our kids, got two tables on the deck the weekend before Memorial Day. What a view! It was so nice to be sitting on the water's edge on a beautiful spring day.

Our server was training a new waiter, who did a good job and just needed a little help from his superior. The kids were happy with the choices on children's menu (standard fare). One friend ordered the legendary Brax lobster roll and said it lived up to its excellent reputation. I had a special entree, which included scrod, shrimp, and scallops in a Newburg sauce. It was a small portion but very tasty and I was glad I chose it. My friends mostly had burgers and sandwiches which they liked. One friend had the clam chowder, however, and said it wasn't that good.

Overall, however, we all enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely give it another try next time we are on the Cape.

Great food, Brax Burger - Fried Oyster Wrap and Crab/Spinach/Artichoke dip was awesome (Crap sauce need little bit more crab in it)... I love the atmosphere inside and starting from host-waitress-and busser... entire service staff is in a very helpful, polite and kind attitude all the time. Sitting right in front of the view was a bonus to my afternoon.
The only thing i might add would be the quality of beer.. it was draft stella -which i asked especially- and taste not fresh, maybe because of it was not cold enough. that's why i couldn't drink another.
But definitely will come back to try brunch and sports bar next time..

Went over to Brax for lunch today, and it was terrible. Just a takeout order of chowder from the bar, but tasted as if it was reheated 3 times.Tasted of all salt and no real flavor. The building is so dark, it's very hard to see around. Driving into the parking lot isn't that wonderful, the offensive smell of the dumpster is enought to make you want to turn around, and there are men using the parking lot to repair their car. Terrible experience, will not return, not worth the $7.00
