This is probably my 10th time here for a regular annual business meeting. The conference services are terrific, wifi is available and works, and every detail is considered. I know many of the staff because they are stable, friendly, care about their jobs and the quality of service they deliver. The food is absolutely terrific. No need to leave the place. The bar is well stocked and the main dining for breakfast lunch and dinner are of the highest quality. The lobster/shrimp mac and cheese reminded me of swiss fondue. It was fantastic. And the breakfast buffet is super complete and again, the staff are very attentive to service and cleanliness and any need you might have. The room is like star trek. Everything is computer controlled from lights to heat to TV etc and again, in the rooms, every detail is considered. I cant imagine asking for something not there...I havent gone in the summer - it must be incredible (the grounds in April are beautiful) because it is so expensive. But it is a treat to go off season and for business...

Room Tip: Since you will be paying a lot you may as well try for those with a view of the water and not one of the motel type rooms. There are lots of them. The best are in the little cottages between the registration desk and around towards the Outer Grill.

We stayed at the Wequassett Resort Thanksgiving weekend, so it was definitely off season for the area. I had vacationed on the Cape as a child and had been anxious to return. This resort offered the perfect location for a weekend away with the ultimate New England charm I had been craving! We stayed in a Premier Cottage Style room, the room was absolutely lovely and so comfortable to be in! We had a sofa and sitting area, a fireplace, a refrigerator and a spacious updated bathroom. Everything at the resort is absolutely top notch with fantastic customer service. We enjoyed walking the grounds and taking in the views of the water. Unfortunately 28 Atlantic was closed for the season, but the rest of the meals we had on site were all delicious. The staff went above and beyond with every little detail. I would highly recommend for any type of visit, family or couples. And we will return again!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff during our stay, from the golf buggy drive to taking us to our mini cottage to commence our stay - to making reservations for us and helping us get out and about and enjoy this lovely scenic state. The premises is very well cared for, our cottage was spacious and luxurious; the bed was massive and the fire late in the evening was most welcome. This is a beautiful resort, Chatham is a super little town and we will be back again to Wequassett in the future...
(we have even saved a favourite picture of this place as our tripadvisor login!)

Room Tip: A cottage/room near to the water is a must!

This is a very nice resort. We were given a room (#54) with a view of the parking lot and no fireplace or balcony. The tub was also very small. I understand most of the rooms are a lot nicer than ours and the resort was mostly empty however we were not given an upgrade. The items in the mini bar are very reasonably priced which is something i loved as well as the turndown service. Our housekeeper also accused me of smoking cigarettes in the room which I did not - there was a fire burning in the distance and we did have the patio door open which is what i assumed she smelled. The staff was otherwise very nice and service during breakfast especially was top notch. I prefer a resort that is slightly more casual and lively. However the beauty of the main dining room is an occasion by itself to dress up. This type of resort is not really my cup of tea but if you are looking for an exclusive place to talk about and spend your money this seems to be the right place to do so.

Dear CSlingerland;

Thank you for your balanced feedback. We appreciate you taking a moment to share your recent experience at the resort.

We are delighted that our staff provided you with outstanding service; however, we were disappointed to learn that a member of our housekeeping team did not leave a favorable impression on you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at jcwillis@wequassett.com or 508-430-3024, as I would be happy to personally discuss your stay. My very best wishes for a pleasant spring season.

Visited hotel early November. Beautiful Place. Weather still great in the fall. Prices 20% of summer high rates. Staff very accommodating. 10 people in dining room for breakfast in room for 200. Top level accessories and glorious room with floor to ceiling windows facing the bay.

local town of Chatham lovely with 35 seat movie theater.

Room Tip: suite facing the bay is stunning. minibar pricing same as retail - underpriced
