Friend of mine suggested this resort for vacation; we stayed there for 7 nights in May this year. I love mountains and this location has great views. Chek-in was very quick. Our stay was very very pleasant. we had 2 bed room condo with full kitchen, 2 bathroom, jakucci, Living room, good size kitchen with fully equipped with dishes, utensils, and pots etc etc. We were five but 8 people can sleep easily. The staff at the reception was very professional and services was great. One of the staff member at reception ( forget the name but from India) had a great professional attitude and very very helpful.
Luckily we had top floor condo so don't have any noise issue. We are also participated in few of their activities and have lots of fun. Small theater with Movie is a nice feature. There is small store in the area but little bit expensive, you can go to Wal-Mart Pittsfield (20 mints from the resort) for grocery or anything you need.
Overall great vacation and highly recommend staying at this resort.

Room Tip: ask them to give you top floor, so you dont have any noice issue.

I was very nervous about the noise factor with this property but in fact it was one of the quietest units we have ever had perhaps due to the fact we were on the top floor at the end of the hall. We rarely heard sounds from the hall and nothing from our neighbors. The unit was very comfortable with probably the best equipped kitchen of time shares that I have found. Yes, the counter space was small and storage limited but with a little creativity there was no problem. The activities did not really appeal to us. The one social night was a big success and I am sure it was not just because there was a free glass of wine. People enjoyed meeting others. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The area itself is a delight to explore with so many towns and while a drive of 20 - 30 minutes is necessary the drive itself is part of the pleasure.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this part of Massachusetts in mid-September. It is in a remote part of the western part of the state so if you plan to eat in your room, stop at a grocery store on your way. We stopped in Wynantskill, NY, at a Hannaford and stocked up. Otherwise, there is a tiny (and expensive) "country store" within walking distance of the resort or you can also drive about half an hour to the nearest town to get groceries.

This resort was a great place to stay as a family of four. We had a two bedroom condo with the living room separating the two bedrooms. Contrary to other people's reviews, we did not hear our neighbors and we were on the second floor so had people above and next to us.

If you like a shower/bath combo, you'll be disappointed but there is a large jetted tub in the master bedroom/bathroom. The master shower is small but the second bathroom shower is a bit larger. There was also a hair dryer in each bathroom, which was a nice touch. The second bathroom doesn't have any counter space but does have a small glass shelf to put your toiletries on.

The kitchen area had very little counter space but did have a full-size refrigerator and stove and oven. It was also completely stocked with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. There was not an ice maker in the freezer, but they do supply ice cube trays for you to make your own. We ate all of our breakfasts in the room as well as three other meals during our stay.

The pool was a neat indoor/outdoor combo. You swim under an opening to get to either side. It's heated so we were swimming out under the stars on a chilly night but not feeling cold at all! The indoor hot tub isn't working but they have it nicely covered. There are two outdoor hot tubs, one is under a huge gazebo. There is also an adult-only pool. For the time of year and fewer crowds, the pool size was quite adequate but I can see where it might get crowded quickly when the resort is really busy.

For the first time at any Wyndham resort we've stayed at, we participated in a couple of the activities. They had a great selection of things to do, free or small cost, ranging from movies to crafts to hiking outside. My girls especially enjoyed making their own soap, as did an adult guest who participated too.

The only downside to our stay was that in order to cool off the master bedroom to my husband's preference, our daughters in the second bedroom froze. Not sure if that would happen in each two bedroom unit or just ours!

Overall, however, we highly recommend staying at this resort.

Room Tip: If you plan to use the pool, ask for a room in one of the buildings adjoining the registration build...

Love the mountain area, great for learners and family. Major downside is how thin the walls are, it is very noisy between rooms. The noise you can hear from the hallways and above and below the rooms is almost intolerable and that is just people doing normal activities in the rooms, not mentioning if children are running in the hallways or people slamming doors.

After staying in the jiminy peak resort condos half a dozen times, we decided to try the Bentley brook units for our annual Berkshires trip. We booked thru a timeshare owner I found on vrbo. I went with my husband, 5 year old son, and 7 month old daughter. Based on other reviews, I asked for a quiet room. When we arrived, the unit we entered had not been cleaned since the previous guest. So, we called reception and we given another unit on a high floor in the same area, but it was unfortunately not renovated. However, during our 4 night stay, we got a notice that furniture renovations were coming to our hall. Our 2 bed/2 bath unit was just fine. One room had a king bed and the other had 2 queens. There was a washer dryer in the unit as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, but no room to store anything outside the refrigerator. We were in a handicap accessible room so we had a very strange shower. While we were thankful to not have noise coming from above, the units are very close to one another and hallway noise is a problem.
We were very impressed with the programs offered. Lots of stuff for kids to do and some things for adults as well, but nothing really appealed to me. The hotel’s pools, gym, tennis courts and arcade are nice features. From the buildings on the far end of the resort (25-27), it is definitely a trek to the jiminy peak base area with the activities and restaurants. Also, it was not very stroller accessible. Not sure if I will stay here or back at the resort next year.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor in a quiet building

My family & I go to bentley brook because of the location. We love the rooms and indoor/ outdoor pool. Our coffeemaker burned out and it took a while to get a new one. The room stunk from the burnt smell. The lady at thefront desk said we could not have a fan due to the fire codes. She said we could not open the windows because we were on the second floor. We were actually on the ground floor.

We had a great time at this hotel. We always enjoy staying here and have been coming for many years. We know what to expect. This place is secluded and you're basically left on your own. Comfortable beds.

There are some things that should be attended to though. There were some crumbling parts of the wall near the master bedroom tub. The main pool really needs to be cleaned thoroughly. The steps to the pool had quite a bit of grime/debris that should be vacuumed up. Sometime in the last 10 months, they added 3 devices that will assist in lowering folks with disabilities into the pool. These things are really massive, unsightly, and worst of all - broken. The hot tub was out of order and covered with a plywood cut-out. That was really odd. At night, there is no lighting for the outdoor pool.

Generally, there just seems to be a very small staff. If they would hire a good property manager, the little things would be attended to and people would have little to find fault with. There is a feeling that almost no one works there.

If you want a getaway that is quiet, this is a great option. If you like convenience and lots of options, it may not be for you.

Room Tip: Main building is preferable. If that's not available, request a room near the elevator in the ot...
