“3 days in a winter wonderland”

The Country Inn was clean, comfortable and provided easy access to the mountain for my 3 girls. The weather was perfect. No wind and a steady light snowfall provided perfect skiing & boarding conditions. Every staff person we encountered was kind, courtious , knowlegable & respectful. The food at the John Harvard was excellent. My only complaint is parents who let their children run wild in the halls. In spite of this we had a great time!

“Jiminy Peak is great family vacation, excellent place to ski and stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2010

Skiing awesome family experience. Everyone from mom to youngest can make it to top of mountain regardless of level. From easy green to chalenging black diamonds fun for all. John Harvards excellent fare, make sure to reserve in advance. Couldn't get my desired dinner reservation on line so needed to call and was attended to efficiently.
Might want to remind staff to get condo unit warmed up if you arrive late. First night was freezing but time we got back from skiing next day/night all was toasty.
Friends of ours came up for day only. Great time had by all.

“Great for first time skier”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2010

The Mountain is beautiful! All of the grounds are well maintained and clean. For a first time adult skier, I was very pleased everything. I did sign up for Ski School and thought the instructor (Keith) did a great job! He explained not only the technical aspects of skiing, but the logic behind it. He did such a great job, I signed up for another lesson the next day and requested him again! Where he instilled the confidence in me to go to the top of the mountain! I could have only done it with him. He was there at every turn I made and when I fell, he was there to pick me up.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is new to skiing, or a good place to bring kids to learn to ski.

“short lines for summer/fall rides. Ignore previous review.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2009

In response to a previous review- I went on the first Sat in October and we waited on line for the Mountain Coaster no more than 5 mins (twice). There was no wait at all for the Alpine Slide. Mountain Coaster is only 1 of 4 of its kind in North America. If you don't apply the breaks at all on the way down- which we were assured if you are under 250 pounds is perfectly safe- it is one HELLUVA ride!
