“Summer Outdoor Park - Great Fun - Expensive”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

We visited Jiminy Peak's Mountain and Aerial Adventure Parks in August. The parks are a great mixture of traditional rides (alpine slide and mountain coaster) plus physically taxing adventure activities (trampoline, rock-climbing, zip-lining, obstacle courses). My family (children 8-11) had a blast and got some great exercise. The young staff was supportive and super friendly. The grounds are amazingly clean and beautifully landscapes with profusions of flowers. Gorgeous! I only wish we didn't live so far away and that the tickets weren't so expensive. It was over $200 admission for our family of four. We knew it was expensive and we went anyway. I don't regret it. It was a fabulous day trip. In particular, the alpine slide was first class awesome - just about as good as in the German Alps but made of fiber glass, not steel (and there were no castles to be seen in MA). There is a relaxing ski lift that takes you up the mountain and the alpine slide is very long, fast and delightfully twisty. I know my children can't wait to go back. Maybe next year.

“Something different. Surprisingly ok”
Reviewed August 15, 2014 via mobile

Stayed Mon-Wed. Suites in the Country Inn were better than average but no more. Kitchenette was very helpful. No fan in the bathroom! Everywhere (including onsite) food was way above average price. Not the worst I've seen though. Rides were nice. Not Six Flags or Disney nice but ok. Pricey tix for the rides. A large group of obnoxious guests tempered our stay somewhat. Staff were FANTASTIC!! Overall I'd say if you can catch a deal somewhere it's worthwhile. Try to go when the "obnoxious" ppl aren't there.

“fun time”
Reviewed August 15, 2014

took our grandchildren ages 7 & 12. Enough to do for both ages. Be aware of height limitations on rides and aerial adventure. The aerial adventure (ropes course) was their favorite , but enjoyed giant swing, alpine slide and mountain coaster too. Its a pretty full day. Certainly would do it again!
