We stayed here for one night while visiting UMass for Accepted students day. It was our first stay at a Hampton Inn. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Check In & Check out was easy. With a AAA discount we paid approx $117 for the room before taxes. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst for the Smith College Open House. We had a lovely stay. The room was very clean. The beds are always comfortable with plenty of pillows. My girls enjoyed the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even recommended good restaurants nearby for dinner. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Had a great stay here over Easter weekend. The kids loved the pool and the staff was very friendly. Great beds for getting a good nights sleep and location was perfect for us, very close to family that lived in the area. Will stay there next year for sure!

Needed a room for 2 nights to visit a sick relative, so not really a vacation. Wanted a clean hotel with a continental breakfast in a reasonably priced chain hotel. We received a AARP rate, making the room only $116.00 before taxes. The room was tastefully decorated with 2 beds and a flat screen TV with HBO. Decent size room, but the view was of dumpsters and rusty trucks from a nearby business. While the beds had fluffy white duvets (which they touted as being washed between each guest) and plenty of pillows, I found the mattress quite uncomfortable and woke up several times with back pain. My husband felt the mattress was tolerable for a 2 night stay. There was a pool and small exercise room, as well as coffee, tea and cocoa in the lobby. The complimentary breakfast was better than average and included fruit, juices, belgian waffles made to order, eggs, sausage, homefries ,hot and cold cereals, yoghurt. Plus, the breakfast room was attractive with a flat screen to watch the News. Breakfast room staff kept everything stocked and clean. There were some upholstered chairs/ couches to relax on with a cup of coffee and the complimentary newspaper. Met 3 desk staff during our stay. Two appeared disinterested and were robotic. Not rude, but not friendly either. The third was cheery and chatty. It's surprising how such a simple thing makes such an impression on your stay. The only thing that would make me hesitate to return was the mattress. Too bad because otherwise the stay was so positive and a great value.

We stayed here for one night as part of a 5 night, 5 hotel trek through New England. This was our 3rd of 3 Hampton Inns on the trip. It ranked #2 in rooms. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The bed was very good. It was smaller than the room in our first Hampton Inn on our trip. It lacked a mini-fridge, though it seemed to have the space for it, and they were standard in the other two. The breakfast was the best of the three, with a wide selection and more interesting hot choices. There was adequate seating even though the hotel seemed quite full. The one elevator was painfully slow, though they were having it serviced while we were there, so this may have been temporary. We would not hesitate to stay again if we returned to the area.
