My spouse and I stopped here for dinner on our way south on I-91 because the highway signs for Exit 26 indicated some restaurants. We decided against the usual chain restaurants and opted to "gamble" on a locally owned establishment. Well, the food was excellent, much better than the ambiance or brisk take-out business would suggest. We visited on a Friday evening and the restaurant and parking lot were nearly full. Despite this service was efficient and pleasant. The menu is extensive and includes Chinese, Thai and Japanese offerings. We had regular Won Ton soup (4 wontons + pork + vegetables; not the usual artificial yellow color) followed by chicken with string beans and chicken amazing. The string bean dish had just the perfect amount of a flavorful sauce - not too sweet or salty - and little enough so that almost none remained in the serving dish by the end. The chicken amazing was nicely presented with daikon flower etc. and had a bit more sauce, but was also very tasty. What a pleasant surprise when really all we were expecting was basic sustenance.
