Description: We brew our own beers at our brewery on Hope Street; we bake our own desserts; and our bar and kitchen menu has a variety of meals and appetizers that we hope will satisfy you. Whenever possible we serve organic foods supplied by local growers and producers. Our dishes are oriented around seasonal New England fruits and vegetables supplied by local farmers. Our priority is not only to provide you with fresh drinks and tasty food but to do it with as little waste as possible. You might notice that no disposable plastic and a minimum of paper items will appear on your table. Also, you may be pleased to know that all kitchen and dining room food scraps are composted and all plastic, cardboard, paper, glass and metal is recycled. Our brewery grain is fed to pigs and goats in Gill. As a result, even on our busiest night, we have not disposed of more than one barrel of trash. We hope that the knowledge of your participation in this ongoing act of environmental goodwill enhances the time you spend at The People's Pint.

“A Great Local Pub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

The Pint is truly a community venue with a homey, friendly atmosphere. While it is most notable for its variety of brews, it also does its best to serve fresh, satisfying food. There are always weekly specials, so you can see that they take pride in everything they serve.

“Cozy and Relaxed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Bring the whole family, or friends. This place has great food from burgers to cold spicy peanut tahini noodles and a cool bar menu of selection of plates of cheeses, breads, pickles and the like.
Best of all, the hand crafted beer choices suit every taste, including homemade ginger brew, and sodas for kids. Unusual ciders, meads, porters, stouts, and more traditional ales are on tap. Plus, the bartender is likely the one who made these brews, or knows them inside and out, letting you test something you're wantin' to try! Cheers!

“Really good food and great brews.”

The People's pint has been around forever and its staying power is a testament to its good food and beer/ales. The service is very good and attentive. Try the smoked chicken wings - the best around.
