Description: We brew our own beers at our brewery on Hope Street; we bake our own desserts; and our bar and kitchen menu has a variety of meals and appetizers that we hope will satisfy you. Whenever possible we serve organic foods supplied by local growers and producers. Our dishes are oriented around seasonal New England fruits and vegetables supplied by local farmers. Our priority is not only to provide you with fresh drinks and tasty food but to do it with as little waste as possible. You might notice that no disposable plastic and a minimum of paper items will appear on your table. Also, you may be pleased to know that all kitchen and dining room food scraps are composted and all plastic, cardboard, paper, glass and metal is recycled. Our brewery grain is fed to pigs and goats in Gill. As a result, even on our busiest night, we have not disposed of more than one barrel of trash. We hope that the knowledge of your participation in this ongoing act of environmental goodwill enhances the time you spend at The People's Pint.

Went to this restaurant looking for a good meal with my daughter. The amount of wine was generous, the prices very fair and the food was delicious. It was a nice "local" spot.

The Peoples Pint is sasy to find, right in downtown Greenfield on Route 5 & 10, convenient to 91 and route 2, parking right across the street. Its a neighborhood bar with lots of locals. The service was quick and friendly. The prices were great with microbrews starting at $3.25. We tried three different brews, none of which were memorable. Nevertheless, if your looking for inexpensive beer this place is ok. Big caveat, they do not accept credit cards. There's two banks right across the street though.

There is nothing like a good pub to set you at ease, and the People's Pint is a fantastic local pub in the heart of Greenfield, Mass. Walk through the strong oak framed doorway into a softly lit pub that offers a matching three-sided oak bar surrounded by central tables, a few window bistro-style tables, and spacious booths. You will be met at the door by one of their professional, good-looking, hostesses and brought to your table. They brew all their own craft beers and on a cool New England afternoon you will not be disappointed by their Chocolate Stout or their signature Farmer Brown (Brown Ale). They have nice blond ales and IPAs too. Their entire menu is locally grown fruits, grains, and vegetables, as well as local meats, breads, and cheeses. I do like a nice simple Plowman's, which is a rustic french baguette with sharp cheddar, home-made pickles, dries fruit, and full-bodied mustard. Add one of their local farmers sausages "of the day" and you are set for a few rounds. Their bacon infused Squealer burger is also a scrumptious treat. If you like BBQ, their wings and ribs are the best I have had (I've done a tour of Kansas City and Memphis if that says anything). ...BEWARE... Save room for dessert.

The mood is easy at the People's Pint. Come there after paddling the Deerfield River with your friends or smartly dressed with your number one girl. Enjoy your first time, but don't worry if you live in the six state New England area it will not be your last. I have become a long-distance local over the years. Bring cash, because they do not accept plastic of any kind.

We tried the People's Pint in late August while in town for a night, what a great place! It's a neat little place with a funky vibe. The menu is really diverse and interesting and their house brewed beers are varied. We tried the quesadillas and were impressed, the tortillas were not the usual store-bought variety. I had the papusas, really thick homemade corn tortillas with black beans, really good Mexican rice and salsa and guacamole. Typically, papusas are filled but these were really tasty nonetheless. Lentil soup was very good and the chocolate cake was a big hit. I also tried the 4 beer sampler and loved all of them. This is a definite gem in Greenfield. Can't wait to go back and try so many more things that looked great on the menu.
