All in all, I highly recommend. I've had birthdays there, entertained out-of-town visitors there, and enjoyed many meals there. Always top-notch dining and service.

We stopped here for lunch on the way home from our vacation. We weren't expecting much but it turned out to be the best . We both had the watermelon salad and the fig pizza. The latter was better than any pizza that we ever had in our home state of New Jersey. The wine list looked very impressive. Our hostess was a very likable young woman.

We plan to be back next year

We have dined there on multiple occassions with several friends. The brunch menu is fine, but it is the new dinner menu that shines. It is eclectic, imaginative, using the best fresh local produce and has never disappointed in a single dish.
We love the smoked salmon appetizer and escargot. For main courses the house made fettucine with lobster and either morilles or chanterelle is fabulous. My wife says the bouliabaisse is among the best she ever had. Restaurant is small so make reservations.

Went there for lunch in October. My wife and I each had the burger and it was truly scrumptious: big, juicy, wonderfully flavorful. Well worth the fat, calories, cholesterol etc. The fries that come with it are unusual and addictive. Service was pleasant and efficient. We'll definitely go back for dinner as well as lunch.

We live in the area and have lunch at cafe adam at least once a week. the place is so comfortable and cotemporary - from the swiss air cutlery to the black linens (great idea, no more lint). Although everything is terrific - the burgers are HUGE and amazing and adam's house smoked salmon can't be beat, even at zabars - go for a special. Recently the duck confit salad was on the board and delivered with toasted pine nuts and tiny bits of local blue cheese. Today the house smoked trout and avocado salad was incredible. Adam just but cassoulet on the dinner menu and we'll be there tomorrow. The servers are all european and there's just a quality they bring to the dining experience that's lacking in most other places outside of new york. There's never a line and I hope it will always be easy to get a table, but I hope for Adam's sake that the place will be booked up more often.
