“Very basic food at not so basic prices...”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Not the most authentic Greek food I have tasted. Too greasy and over priced. Service was slow and a little sloppy. Could be very nice with some attention to detail. Won't see me again!

“Pricier than we expected”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

The food was competent but not memorable—certainly not as impressive as the prices. Most entrees are in the $20-30 range, for basic Mediterranean food. On a Wednesday night, the entire serving staff appeared to be 21 or younger. We wouldn't go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and food. Seafood entres were our choices and they were prepared well with Mediterranean flair! Very fresh food - nice service.we recommend a trip to the Aegean in the Birkshires!

“A Touch of Greece in Great Barrington!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

On a very hot mid-week evening, and with a review in hand, we walked down the street to Aegean Breeze. We've been to Greece a number of times, and also have a superb Greek restaurant near us at home. My husband said his Mousaka was perfect, and the Santorini wine was superb. Thanks so much...we'll be back again!

“Breeze your way somewhere else”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

This was disappointing. The menu is adequate but the service and the execution are a problem. We arrived on time for our early reservation as we had theater tickets to follow, and we were seated promptly. The char grilled calamari appetizer was the best dish of the evening, tender and flavorful. The menu offers a choice of three cold appetizers for one price which was nice-sized, but only the tzadziki was good. Three of us had lamb shishkebab; the dinners came before we had finished the appetizers. All three of us ordered the lamb rare but there was barely any pink at all--it came medium-well done, and the meat was very tough. The fourth dinner was only OK. Baklava was so drowned in honey it was soggy yet so overcooked and rubbery that it required cutting with a steak knife. Serice was indifferent to poor with a lack of attentiveness and very poor timing of things. We won't return.
