They blend their own and offer a great variety of fillings. during season the special is strawberries or raspberries dipped in light or dark chocolate. lots of dried fruits or nuts coated with dark chocolate. This place is so good that I have beed returning for 20+ years

I shop at Catherines regularly - the chocolates are YUMMY. The staff helpful and for such a tiny place they move you through really efficiently

“Bring your VISA (as they say in TV-land)”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

Catherine's understands that its clientele mostly include well-healed Manhattanites either up to see classical at Tanglewood or staying at their country homes for the weekend and prices accordingly. The offerings are fairly standard sweet shop fair - dark chocolate covered nuts, jellied candies of various configurations, novelty lollipops and New Jersey boardwalk-style treats. All of it nicely arranged and presented by an attentive staff. In short, think about getting a different souvenir for the folks back home unless back home is Park Avenue, Scarsdale or some other tony address.

“A Berkshire Institution”

The quality of the chocolate is excellent. We especially like the chocolate dipped dried fruits and the chocolate cordials, but it's all good. I send boxes from Catherine's for birthday's and holiday gifts. The service is great, too.

“Fudge Fans should visit!”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

Great selection of delicious Fudge, and some unique flavors that change frequently. Watermelon was the special when we visited. Catherine's also carries some old-time candies that are hard to find these days. I bought anise bears :)
