The food was delicious and the restaurant was trendy and casual. It had a welcoming and warm feeling. Would go there again!

Chose to eat in the dining room since the band in the bar was a bit loud. The band was quite good but too loud for conversation across a table. Appetizers were a mixed green salad and french onion soup. Both were spot on and the house salad dressing is quite nice. Mains were fettuccine bolognese and chili relleno. Bolognese sauce was very nice but the pasta was a bit overcooked. The chili relleno was stuffed with tomatoes, raisins, chicken and almonds. The mixture had a nice flavor but the chicken was a bit dry. Dessert was a warm banana tart which was otherwise OK, though arrived at room temperature rather than "warm". We arrived after the theatre rush so perhaps the kitchen had "stood down" for a breather which may explain why our meal seemed a notch below what we expected based on the other Tripadvisor reviews.

We went to dinner the other evening and choose to sit in the bar area. The place is neat and well-apointed. The hostess was awesome, taking the time to talk a bit regarding the menu prior to our waitresses' arrival.
The food is top-notch and solid. The beer selections are good, as is the wine list.
Apparently, there's a back dining room, and a bar area in which to sit. We preferred the bar area, which is quite lively (with diners, rather than with bar goers).
We will be back.

This was a return visit after a year absence from visiting the Berkshires; we were told ownership had changed so we were concerned. Thankfully, the meal and service were excellent. Salmon and sea bass dishes were both well prepared, not overly seasoned, accompanied by fresh perfectly cooked vegetables. Interestingly we encountered the chef earlier in the day as we stopped in to inquire about reservations. That evening he was in the dining room but pretty much planted at one table and not moving about. He did ask about our meal, as we were next to the table he was at. He responded to my question about what was happening in the kitchen that he was fortunate to have three right hands. Clearly, the chef has crafted a great menu and hired very capable staff to deliver on his creations. Now, it would be nice if he circulated amongst all the diners!

Love Love Love this restaurant. They serve the freshest food and have great, personalized service. Beautiful artwork on the walls keep you interested. It's a lovely big room and it feels wonderful to eat there. We never sat in the bar area. We went all out - 2 martinis, 2 appetizers, 2 dishes, 2 desserts (yum!), and another 2 drinks. We had to leave for a show or I could have sat there all night long.
