Had never been to the Triplex before but a movie was playing there that wasn't playing in Pittsfield or Lanesborough. Left Pittsfield an hour early to get to the 1:30 showing of a movie. As we got close to downtown Great Barrington, the traffic was heavy. Turning up Railroad Street there was no parking anywhere. Every space was taken. Circled the block three times, waiting in traffic each time, until we finally snagged a parking spot somebody was backing out of. By the time we got inside the Triplex there were lines at the concession/ticket counter. Took two flights of stairs to the theatre, opened the door and the movie had already started. All we could see were a sea of heads. We ended up having to take "bad" seats as more people were coming behind us. The popcorn was stale with no butter added.
