Had the best sandwich I've ever had my life at this wonderful place. The owners have exquisite taste and take great care in selecting the ingredients that are used in the food they serve from the menu. They also have a wonderful selection of groceries carefully selected from France and other European countries. And they also have a great curated selection of olive oils.

This is not what you would expect to find in the Berkshires despite all the nice eating places that exist there. It really is something that would be a standout even in Provence.

Definitely worth a stop.

Hard to spot Deli with authentic and wonderful dishes. The salads and olive oils are fantastic. Sandwiches too. They close at 4pm; so get a take out for your picnic!

...but a little pricey for my taste. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere for lunch and the food is good quality, but it just gets too expensive to go there often.

Francoise and Helen have somehow, miraculously brought a slice of France to the Berkshires. A combination of outstanding imports and locally produced “real” food that are offered here make this place a mandatory stop on any visit to the area.
The hand selected imported olive oil from France, Greece, Italy and other European sources alone make this a place that you can’t pass by on a day trip, ski vacation or drive through. You can bring an old wine bottle and get $2 off on a 750ml bottle of the best olive oil available in the United States.
If you want a great lunch with the opportunity to purchase a slice of France you can’t miss this place.

I'm local and I drive by this place several times a week. But I only tried it for lunch this summer. My friend and I had a lovely eggplant dish and sat outside. Today I went back with my husband, who got a ham sandwich on a baguette, which took him back to France. I got a quiche, which was OK not great. I should have had a baguette sandwich, too. Still the place is a really fun change of pace for lunch--very European.
