“Pleasant walk”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

This a pleasant walk along the Housatonic River. Although the walk was short, it was a nice respite from the heat. We encountered volunteers on the trail hard at work. They should be proud of all that has been accomplished.

“Short but delightful”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

You'll have to look for this riverside jaunt but it's worth the effort. The sturdy boardwalk gives you a good view of the river, and the historic marker at one end is worth reading. Very well maintained.

“Accolades for creating this!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

On a very hot day in mid July we picked up the brochure and followed the walk from Rite Aide. Very enjoyable (and cool). Loved the descriptions. Thanks for the opportunity.

“short but memorable”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

The Housatonic River Walk is tucked away and not obvious to find, but is well worth the effort to locate it. It only takes an hour or so to traverse the two segments, but they provide a dramatic connection to the river running through this historic old town.

“Scenic and peaceful”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

This was a short and pretty walk. There are a few steps but my 83 year old mother was able to navigate them just fine. The length of section by the Rite-Aid was perfect for her.
