“wonderful surprise - very nice people”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Strolled in around 3.30pm looking for coffee. There was none left, but the Camille immediately insisted that they would make some for us. Whilst waiting, we noticed the display cases with tasty looking homemade food. Italian specialties seemed to be the order of the day. Apparently the menu changes daily, one has to call to find out the daily offerings. Anyway, we decided to buy food for dinner for us and my in-laws, to save us the trouble of cooking. We ordered stuffed peppers, marinara sauce, meatballs, semolina bread for main course. Camille's husband, who is very knowledgeable and helpful, insisted that we take a bulb of locally grown organic garlic on the house, along with gleeful instructions on how to best make garlic bread. I chose Valdigrano Spaghettini, which ended up being the best tasting pasta brand we have ever had. We also bought 4 canolli's for dessert, which we just finished. It was all - truly - excellent. We are foodies, and we cannot make up our mind which we thought the best, although I think it was the sauce. But everything else was terrific and we will most definitely be back. Very, very, well done.

“Poor”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This place advertises a $12.99 3-course meal ... Salad, entree with a side, and cannoli. Eat in or take out. My wife and I stopped in a 7 pm to an empty storefront restaurant, asked for this 'deal' and were shown a blackboard indicating it coast $15.99. When we mentioned the ad the salesperson called the owner who said she could honor the ad. We decided on takeout, and purchased one eggplant Parmesan entree and one chicken rollatini entree. When we arrived home we found a few slices of dry Italian bread, two appetizer-sized 'entrees,' no sides, and two finger-sized cannolies. The tiny "entrees" were very dry (almost no sauces to speak of) and rather tasteless. What a disappointment!!!

“True New York quality Italian and Deli sandwiches with top quality meats to go”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Home style cafe, friendly staff, generous portions, and quality ingredients from giant deli sandwiches to great traditional italian cuisine. Everything seems homegrown, home made and delish.
we hit this spot on the way home from the "shires" and also picked up some organic beef, and house made sausages to go.
We saw James Taylor leave there as we drove in..sweet baby james
