“Hidden Gem in Lanesville”
Review of Plum Cove Grind

Lanesville is unique village in Gloucester and has always been one of the outlying neighborhoods, in more than one way. An area rich in artistic heritage, it attracts a very distinctive set of people and businesses. Plum Cove Grind is one of these places. Meredith has created a wonderful place to get coffee, pastries, custom cakes and lunch items. It isn't easy to operate a business in Lanesville--it is off the beaten path around Cape Ann, but this is probably something that has contributed to it character.

I live nearby, and the Grind is a great place to visit. So, take the path less traveled, stop by and try it out--I think you'll enjoy it.

Grind is one of those local places that is off the beaten path. And has just the right kinds of things for a quick lunch or snack. Its not your usual jam packed village store but a select assortment of baked good and sandwiches and juices and tea.

The Daily Grind is in a great building and a great village, Lanesville, in Gloucester, MA. The baked goods are wonderful. I haven't been there is a while but have always found the coffee lacking unfortunately, I love to drop in, only wish the coffee were better.

Enjoying a five-night stay in nearby Lane's Cove, we were looking for a place to enjoy high quality espresso drinks and breakfast pastries. We absolutely found it in Plum Cove Grind, just 1/2 mile from where we were staying. The beverages were all delicious and reasonably-priced and the bakery items were outstanding. We stopped by for a quick sandwich on another day and enjoyed it very much. The location, food and beverage quality, and staff make this a wonderful neighborhood spot. We'd take Plum Cove Grind over Starbuck's any day.
