If you pull up and take a quick look at the outside, you might think you're in the wrong place. I've seen junk stores that look more appealing from the outside, but take a moment to let your nose tell you you've arrived. Inside isn't really all that much more attractive - quite austere, but clean and homey. Service is very "dinerish", but efficient and quite friendly. But the main attraction here is the food. Seafood anything, pasta anything, anything the way you want it. And way more than any one, or two people for that matter, can eat. We had a shrimp and marinara pasta dish that would have made our knees buckely had we not been sitting down. Salads were fresh and plentiful, but bread was fresh and hot. The second visit found us having fish chowder and fried haddock sandwiches. It's a wonder the waitresses don't have back issues carrying the massive plates of food to the tables. Everything prepared just right. The locals eat here and might not actually realize just how lucky they are to have such a source of well prepared seafood and pasta in their backyards. But as visitors from orchard country, what a treat. If you have one opportunity to have a meal out while in Gloucester this is the one to not miss.
